D: Hi, guys. How are you?

J: Good.
D: James, I have a question . . . (intermittent malfunctions commence) . . . I don’t know if this is . . . wondering how does a person differentiate between receiving information from a human consciousness or I guess what you’d call a nature consciousness? . . .
J: Well, you know, it’s interesting because also there are other — you know, many people think this is the only place there is and the only consciousness is the human consciousness but there isn’t. (There are) other levels and other . . . out there and other species and so forth and so forth. . . .
D: . . . the people, the trees, the animals — that there’s just (“A”) a living consciousness for an entire area?
J: Oh definitely. Definitely. And, you know, part of the other side that I’ve experienced — (“THROUGH”) people communication. They said there’s only One consciousness and the flowers, the trees, the animals . . . beings . . . and they all think in One. The blades of the grass. They’re aware of the movement of the grass. They all feel it.
D: Right.
J: It’s all that Oneness, you know what I’m saying?
D: Yeah.
J: And we are that. When we pass out of the physical, out of this dense body with limitations, we become . . . consciousness.
D: Okay.
J: That awareness.
D: That’s kind of what I thought it was — where it was coming from but I guess I just needed to hear it from somebody who had . . .
J: . . . around you. Not that they don’t exist because they do exist but you as a loving being drug (or “DRUG”) — like attracts like. And you will attract to you that — what you are and what you think. And if you’re sitting in meditation or you sit doing this work, if you protect yourself and you sit in love and you bring that — I like to call it the Christ Consciousness or that One Light with you then that’s a great protector. But having the awareness that there are other things around you is good too. (“BUT”) Don’t give them the power. Realize that you have the power. (“NO”) You are the light and you are the power. And you have — you have the power over anything — over any of those things.
N: Right. And what do you think about Ouija Boards?
J: I started with Ouija Boards.
N: You did?
J: I started with Ouija Boards. I said a prayer. I did a protection prayer and meditation. And I brought love in. And that (or “AND THAT”) — again, at the same time, the Christ Consciousness and it was a wonderful way . . . telepathically. It is not a game.
N: Right.
J: It needs to be done with discipline and with reverence and respect.
M: You know, that’s a very interesting aspect. I’m glad you asked about the Ouija Board because the film “The Exorcist” was actually based on the case of a little boy in Mt. Ranier, Maryland and I talked about that on this program about a week or so ago. And, actually, the little girl in the film plays with a Ouija Board but apparently the boy in real life had contact with a Ouija Board and there was some concern at the time the film came out that — from religious leaders — that people not touch the Ouija Board. You’re saying it’s not a problem then?
J: No. Not at all. It’s a tool. It’s another — it’s a divination tool just like, you know, a crystal ball; or psychometry — holding something of someone; or tea leaves. These are all divination techniques, ways of tuning into the Energy as we’ve been talking about — tuning into that Energy. Tuning into that Knowingness. And this is just another tool.
M: Okay.
J: We need that tool to get into it. (“NO”)

Q: Hi, Mike. Hi, James. I think this is a question that really needs to be asked of every person who gives spiritual wisdom on the airwaves or has a book to share. It might be good for Judith when she’s on your show—Judith Orloff—as well. But —
J: Great lady.
Q: Yeah. James, (“SO”) with your wealth, (“N”) how do you share the spiritual wisdom? How do you manifest it in your life? What charities are you involved with? Tell us a little bit about that work.
J: Well part of the work I do — I do volunteer work. I (or “I”) — I do work with the homeless. I do — I do many things. Children also. And I do — I teach people also about their own power, enlightening themselves, really opening up their spiritual selves. I mean I do many, many things, Mark. I mean we don’t have time to talk about that and the things I’m involved with. But on many levels I work with many —
Q: (off air) You don’t ride in limos, do you?
M: Okay. That — I hope that answers the question for him. We’re going to wrap it up but I wanted to ask you for people — we’re going to continue with this conversation and I’ll continue taking calls. J: . . . heal thyself. (“AND”) And you can do it. And you don’t have to live anyone else’s life but live your own. Don’t live other people’s expectations but live your own life that you were born to fulfill. Your own destiny. And God says yes. We say no. Our egos says no but God always says yes.

All I wrote was — (“WELL”) the previous posting was Joy Smith and she said, “I bet Art is going to have to watch his words more closely.” That was the end of her message. And then I wrote:

Art has been watching his words very closely for quite some time. This guest has plenty of stimulating interview tapes complete with electronic voice phenomena. And I don’t have any anxiety about telling the truth, which needs to be heard to wake people up from their state of unawareness brought on by materialism, the preoccupation with fantasy (movies, TV) and idolatry (glamour, sports).
Can anyone deny that corporations are evil principalities structured to enable a few individuals to amass wealth to the detriment of society and even the companies’ own employees? It seems that Art is in danger of becoming one of these corporate ‘highwaymen’ of our time.
Art has been provided with many spiritual lessons yet he doesn’t seem to understand the value of metaphors in historical wisdom traditions. Now Art is entering into a pact with the Devil. It’s no coincidence that the guest on the show Friday was James Van Praagh who once worked in contracts administration at Paramount Pictures.
Art, if you haven’t signed the final agreement, tell them you changed your mind; look for a loophole; or find some way to have them terminate the deal. And remember any unused money in your bank account could provide food and clothing for the world’s disenfranchised and/or environmental concerns.
The L.A. Times reported that “The Dr. Laura Schlesinger Show” sold for $71.5 million, a figure “thought to exclude the talk show therapist’s salary, which sources peg in the mid-seven figure range.” If everyone—including talk show hosts—gave back to the world as much as they took from it, our Earth would be the paradise it was meant to be. You’re either part of the solution or part of the problem.
To what benefit is reincarnation if you make the same mistakes in every lifetime, returning to a ravaged Earth “again and again and again and again.” After all, anyone can talk about spiritual awareness; manifesting it in one’s actions is another matter. This all reminds me of the blindness of the man who sent Jesus to the cross — doing what he imagined was best for his own self-interests without caring that all the world’s peoples were losing their redeemer.
