A: Well all right everybody so we’re going into the open lines business right now. Just one little thing here. Remember the anti-missile missile that we had cooked up called Brilliant Pebbles that would throw a whole bunch of pebbles and the velocity of the pebbles would kill the incoming missile? Well now the U.S. is exploring the idea of nuclear-tipped interceptors again. Otherwise called big pebbles. Nah, I’m kidding about that big pebble thing. Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld has reopened the door to possible use of nuclear-tipped interceptors, the National Missile Defense System, reviving an idea that U.S. authorities rejected three decades ago as technically problematic and politically unacceptable. Well I guess it’s technically possible now and politically acceptable because here we go down the road. They have not so named it but I thought after Brilliant (“PREP”) Pebbles, I thought maybe the name for this program ought to be Big Pebbles. (small laugh) Open lines coming up. (commercials) All right, into the night of the land of unknown calls we now plunge. At top of the hour Sean David Morton. Lots of really, really interesting topics tonight. In fact, I’ll sort of headline what we’re going to do with Sean just before we get on with Sean. Wild card line, you are on the air. Welcome.
Q: Hi, Art.
Q: Hi. Your news headlines tonight and something I’ve been reading in my journalism newsgroup just made me realize how important it is to take an analytical approach to these things. Rather than a judgmental one, I think.
A: Well which — you’re referring to generally, you mean, to —
Q: Generally. UFOs, —
Q: — karma, etc.
Q: Rather than a judgmental tone, I think. I, myself, have been — did that before. But, anyway, I think if we think of the predicament of a Spirit interacting with us primitive humans accustomed to trying to attribute goodness or evil to the experiences — sometimes in superficial or materialistic ways. It makes you remember—and something that you can really observe on your interviews—is what better way for a Spirit to communicate than through our events and experiences? And —
A: Well I don’t know. Gordon Michael’s (Scallion) words seem to me to be saying that there’s karma for everything. Right? There’s karma for everything and it either comes immediately or it can take several lifetimes to manifest itself or you know.
Q: Well interpreting it is the problem, though. I remember (“HE”) he made that one prediction once about the year of ‘putting it to the test.’ And I remember, like, there was a famous poltergeist case called The Haunting of Cashen’s Gap that Harry Price and R. S. Lambert wrote.
Q: And on page 29 there was a curious little fact on this case which took place on the Isle of Man and that was that the Entity usually called Mr. Irving ‘Jim’ or ‘Pots.’ And then, of course, in the famous Bell Witch case—on the famous old 1894 book by M. V. Ingram—on page 160 Richard Williams Bell recalled that his brother Jesse’s wife had been nicknamed the same name ‘Pots’ by the all-knowing Spirit that was manifesting.
A: Coincidence or — ?
Q: Well (“AND THESE”) these — again, this is an 18th Century case and a 19th Century case. The one book was published in Nashville. The other book was published in London. One unfamiliar (“WITH”) with the entirety of these cases may dismiss this as a trivial detail. I don’t think you would with all your experience.
A: Well I — okay. To answer your question, I don’t (line disconnected)
( . . . )
Q: (speaking into tape recorder) Well I would’ve liked to say more but I guess I got the main point out. That was on April 11th. You might say I was trying to give the ‘411’ on 4-11. That was a silly mistake I made too. I should’ve said one was a 19th Century case and one was a 20th Century case but (“NO”) when you’re trying to make points and make some other points, you make mistakes like that. So I went to — I was taping the show on my radio tape recorder. And I was surprised to hear (“THAT”) the pause on the taping was a lot more than I think in the past (“IT WAS”). It seemed much longer than just a few seconds. Anyway, this was what was said next.
( . . . )
A: Well I — okay. To answer your question, I don’t — certainly, I don’t dismiss it. And I do try to be — you just can’t believe everything, obviously. I try to be pragmatic about things. However — however, I must say that in recent — let me say the last year actually. There has been a sort of conversion going on between that which we talked about on this show as only a possibility or a theory. How (or “HOW”), gee whiz, in the last year a lot of these possibilities and theories that we have been discussing—and observations made by all of you—are now suddenly being reported very heavily in the mainstream press. In scientific journals — very prestigious scientific journals and the mainstream press all over the place. In fact, so much so that it sort of freaks me out a little bit. To have been that far ahead of the curve. And I’m not crediting myself with that at all. I’m crediting all of you and the kind of people that we interview. We’re so far ahead of the curve that it, in fact, it’s about a year or better ahead of the curve. Sometimes better. The old batting average here in view of recent scientific discovery I’d say is pretty good. East of the Rockies, you’re on the air. Hi. . . .
(TRANSCRIBER’S NOTE: HERE IS THE EMAIL THAT INSPIRED MY CALL. I ALSO FORWARDED A COPY OF IT TO THE PRESIDENT AT THE WHITE HOUSE EMAIL ADDRESS.)

This update was a follow-up to previous reporting.
As mentioned in the “Mysteries of the Mind” interview transcriptrecently added to the testament.org website, researching historical‘talking poltergeists’ led me to discover parallels within historical‘paranormal’ case studies that somewhat prepared me for my ownexperiences that eventually followed.
In the 1894 book by M.V. Ingram AUTHENTICATED HISTORY OF THE BELL WITCHpublished in Nashville, on page 160 Richard Williams Bell recalled thathis brother Jesse’s wife had been nicknamed ‘Pots’ by the all-knowingSpirit manifesting in their rural community. Another nonfictionbook—THE HAUNTING OF CASHEN’S GAP by Harry Price and R.S. Lambert firstpublished in 1936 London—revealed on page 29 that the haunting Entityin this case that took place on the Isle of Man “usually called Mr.Irving ‘Jim’ or ‘Pots.'” One unfamiliar with the entirety of thesecases may dismiss this as a trivial detail; however, one should considerthe predicament of a Messianic Spirit communicating with primitivehumans accustomed to individually attributing goodness or evil to theirexperiences in what at times seems a superficial or materialistic way(similarly, the predicament of journalists is to individually selectwhat news is appropriate to report while facing the dilemma posed byeconomic considerations). What better way could there be for a Spiritother than communicating through events and experiences? Ingram wroteon page 31 of his book, “People now concluded that a good spirit hadbeen sent to the community to work wonders and prepare the good at heartfor the second advent.”
The 19th Century haunting Spirit that is often referred to as ‘The BellWitch’ was stated by John Johnson’s daughter Nancy Ayers as having onceanswered his question, “Tell me where you live, and who and what youare, anyhow?” This, Ayers said, was the answer (page 281): “I live inthe woods, in the air, in the water, in houses with people; I live inHeaven and in Hell; I am all things and anything I want to be; now don’tyou know what I am?” Similarly, on page 51 of THE HAUNTING OF CASHEN’SGAP, the Entity is quoted as saying to Mrs. Irving, ” . . . I am theHoly Ghost.” Another well-documented talking poltergeist case waschronicled in the 1841 book A FAITHFUL RECORD OF THE MIRACULOUS CASE OFMARY JOBSON by W. Reid Clanny, M.D. In this case, the Spirit manifestedin different voices (as in the Bell Witch case) and even calledThemselves “Alpha and Omega; the beginning and the ending,” “The LordThey (SIC) God” and “The Son of God.”
After I learned about a contemporary Oklahoma family experiencing“talking poltergeist” phenomena from a FORTEAN TIMES magazine article(reproduced at http://www.testament.org/testament/forteantimes.html ), Icontacted the family and was surprised to discover that there was a Bellancestry connection. I later decided to publish my interviewtranscripts verbatim so that others could read authentic responses toexperiencing the unexplained.

MY TAPE RECORDER AND LISTENING DEVICE WEREN’T WORKING AT FIRST FOR SOME REASON. AFTER THE PRODUCER ANSWERED MY CALL, I TOLD HIM THAT I HAD A QUESTION AND HE SAID THEY WERE LOOKING FOR COMMENTS. I REPLIED THAT I WOULD THEN LIKE TO MAKE A COMMENT SO HE TOOK MY NAME AND WHERE I WAS CALLING FROM, ADDING THAT HIS NAME ALSO WAS MARK. THE TAPE RECORDER BEGAN FUNCTIONING PROPERLY DURING A TRAFFIC REPORT THAT WAS FOLLOWED BY COMMERCIALS.)
M: Hang in there because we’re going to run the call through, okay?
Q: Okay, great. (commercials continue)
What would the world be like, you all, without lots of music? What would the world be like now without long days?Just think . . .
L: It is nineteen past the hour of midnight. Lee Kline with you on KFI AM 640, more stimulating talk radio. Joan Veon has been nice enough to be our guest from the East Coast. Let us go back to her. I do thank you for staying up this late, Joan. I know this is going to be your last segment so why don’t we go to a couple of callers here.
L: They’ve been waiting a long time.
J: All right.
L: Let’s go to Ron. Ron is in the high desert. Ron, welcome. How are you?
R: Oh I’m fine. Lee, I love your program. You’re wonderful. Joan, you’re absolutely brilliant. I have been listening to this and I’m probably the lowest of the callers as far as knowing what’s going on and everything but I’ve been watching. And I listened to you talk about Africa. I listened to you talk about the United States, other countries, what’s going on. And I’ve felt for a long time the United States was the one that was — things were happening but now it’s on a global basis. If you owned a piece of property and you had all the money that you needed—money was not an issue—and it had a house on it and you loved the property but you know what? You really didn’t like the house. What you do is you knock the house down, you scrape the property and you rebuild it the way you want it. The smoking guns — we don’t even know who they are. They’re the big money of the world and I feel that all these things that are going on — it’s contrived. Very much contrived with a very, very specific agenda. And (“NO”) the World Bank — you’ve got a — everything is turning, you know, they want to collect taxes off of us. Hello? Like we’re not taxed enough? Why? Because we’re successful and they’re not? What do you think, Lee?
L: Well, Ron, just from my standpoint, I can not do anything but concur with . . .(tape recorder malfunction)
J: The bottom line is that (“B”) well I agree with everything you’ve said. I mean, you know, we are not our own and unfortunately they keep throwing these right — these fists at us. I mean, you know, we’re being beaten up like a punching bag.
L: Let’s go to Glen on a cell phone. Glen, welcome.
G: Hi. I was listening to your show. It’s real good tonight and I had a thought that it’s the conspiracy thing of course, something has been marginalized and what not. I think it’s more a confluence of motive. You’ve got big business wanting to sell sell sell. All the politicians are in the bag, you know, to one degree or another and none of them have really the interests of the people at heart. And you’ve got this whole paradigm being put down as far as where it’s the big lie, you know. In other words, everyone’s the same and all it does — it creates a big block of consumers that are compliant like sheep, you know. And they work at their job and it’s a mind-numbing job. And they come home and watch the news or watch some inane TV programming and then they see the Chevy commercial or “Wouldn’t it be nice to have a Mercedes-Benz?” after you’ve heard about the child molester or somebody tragically killed some way or another, you know. So, like you say, I think it’s all-encompassing and it isn’t — it’s just — it’s about profit, which isn’t wrong, and then it’s this victim — everyone’s a victim; no one’s responsible. It’s some ethereal organization that’s responsible for their problems and not them, you know.
L: Well, you know, Joan, I’ve said this on this show and in my personal life, if you want to talk about old school versus today, just look at the number of locks you have to have on your door today and then take a look at the number of locks you had to have on your door when you grew up as a child.
L: I think that just about says it all right there.
J: Absolutely. It’s called trust. It’s called honesty. It’s called integrity. And what we are seeing is we are living in a nation of lies.
L: And how in the world can we possibly say that society as a whole has advanced when crime is up, the people — in the name of God of all things — people killing people for. I mean it’s just — it’s pathetic of where our society as a whole. Not just America. I’m talking about global right now — of where it has come. And, like the caller said, making a profit is okay but bastardly and dastardly greed has become the norm and it is just done away with pride within human beings, be it spiritually, be it religiously, raising your children. It’s abominable of where our society has come when fifty percent of our children are being raised by one parent.
J: We have forgotten God. I mean when they closed school prayer, we lost our moral anchor. You know, when you have to understa(nd) — when a person understands that there is a Higher Being, a higher accountability, (“NO”) and (or “AND”) then all of a sudden it’s not there and, you know, it’s whatever you want to do.
L: I find it so hypocritical when they say that there has to be a deviation according to our Constitution between church and state yet on every piece of coinage and every single minted dollar, $10, $5, whatever the paper is — it says, “In God We Trust.” Now if that isn’t the biggest hypocrisy — that God should be printed on money but taken out of our children spiritually, you know how absurd this is? (“YEAH”)
J: Yeah, all we have to do is look around.
L: Right. And take a look what’s happening as each day — as the hour — as the sands of the hourglass so do the days of our lives? So do the days of this country. And I think that Rome has been burning for a long time. I think Nero has been fiddling and all we’re doing is just getting drunk and all we’re doing is having a good time, smelling the smoke and pretending it’s — pretending we’re getting high off of it. It is so dumb, it is so stupid and it’s right there, smack dab in the front of us.
J: I think you’ve just articulated in a very beautiful way exactly where we are because it’s my sentiment.
L: Well put on your rose glasses because maybe one day you won’t have to take them off again.
L: And if that happens, please send me a male’s pair, okay? Because I would like to see what life looks like through rose glasses because I haven’t looked at it since I was about twelve years old.
J: Let me just say as we come up to the close that watching this, being a firsthand eyewitness, hearing their words, reading their documents has been extremely difficult on me; however, what I have seen, even as I read the Bible, there has been a world government throughout the centuries. We are in a world government. It’s our turn, I suppose, if you could — we could put it that way. Unfortunately, it’s our turn.
L: You said that at the beginning but there’s nothing that we can do — and I use that with a question mark. Is there anything that we can do to either stymie this, slow it down or put a speed bump in its way?
J: I never want to say no, there’s nothing we can do. It depends on when and where and how the people get fed up. Obviously, they need people like you and I to explain, to give them understanding so they can say, “Oh, is that what had happened?” You know? Prayer is where I have come to. I mean who am I going to talk to? What congressman? What senator is going to say, “Oh yeah, we have to do something.” Just like one of the earlier callers — was it Dreyer who said, “Oh no no.” I mean no, excuse me. (“SORRY”)
L: And it’s the same thing as running for governor. There’s nobody that has the guts to say let’s close our borders the way they should be here in Southern California to stop the illegal migration.
J: That’s right. And they are afraid that you and I will wake up. And so I think one of the reasons why America’s economy quote/unquote as done so well is not only has it been the individual entrepreneurship which they’re starting to snuff out with big business — because I’m a small entrepreneur and they’re are many other people. I mean that’s what makes them American — America America. You know, when you make us a corporate status state is when it will all change. But, you know, it has been the individual entrepreneurship that has brought America to where it’s at. And we see it every turn. Different things changing and so it depends on we the people. What do we the people want? What are we really willing to sacrifice? We have had a bull market of unprecedented magnitude, our houses are bigger, our cars are more expensive —
L: And our debt is larger than ever before.
J: And our debt is larger.
L: So where have we come?
J: Well for the time being. (“YEAH”)
L: We live for the moment, not for the long range. That’s for sure. Well —
L: Joan, we have reached the end. I wish we had more time to spend with each other. I do thank you and appreciate it very much that you stayed up so late on the East Coast to be on with us and help inform our people here in Southern California. Once again, Joan Veon, if you would like to know more about her, just go to http://www.womensgroup.org and you also have two — is it just the two books that you have published?
J: I have two books, I have two newsletters and they can call (301) 371-0541 and we will send them an information packet.
L: Why don’t you give that number out again?
J: (gives number)
L: There you go. One of the books is Prince Charles The Sustainable Prince and the name of the other book is?
J: The United Nations’ Global Straitjacket.
L: Which is your second and latest book?
J: That is correct.
L: Once again, Joan, thank you very much for staying up and being a guest on KFI.
J: Lee, God bless you and God bless America.
L: Thank you very much. Joan Veon — our guest. We shall return shortly after a few commercial messages. I’ll take those phone calls that still want to say on. And I have a couple of other things that I want to get some points across between now and the rest of the show. I’m Lee Kline and you are listening to KFI-AM 640, more stimulating talk radio. (commercials begin)
( . . . )
Like a snowball rolling down the side of a snow-covered hillIt’s growingLike the size of the fish that the man claimed broke his reelIt’s growing . . .
L: Ah, the sweet sound of the late Mr. David Ruffin and the Temptations at 35 minutes past the hour of midnight. Lee Kline with you the rest of the way until 1 a.m. on KFI-AM 640, more stimulating talk radio. I just can’t — I’ll get to your phone calls in a second so just please be patient. I read at the top of the show that Yasir Arafat said today that he’s prepared to accept the Jewish state called Israel. Now Israel’s been in existence for 54 years. It’s nice to know that he finally is going to accept it or at least claims that he does. And in an exclusive interview he actually offered no apologies for funding such groups as the Al Qaeda Martyrs Brigade—these are the terrorist bombers, of course—saying he was merely trying to help their members from suffering in poverty. The PLA President said that the land of Israel and the Palestinian territories is terra santa, which happens to be Latin for holy land. And he says that Jews, Christians and Muslims alike will all have room in the new state of Palestine. And one that I get a kick out of is the fact that he recalled how as a child—he’s from Egypt originally for those that didn’t know—that he recalled as a child that he had Jewish playmates. Now you want to talk about spin. You’ve got Yasir Arafat, who was a terrorist all of his life, has sentiment globally because of what’s taken place. How this has happened just shows you how upside down the world really is. And what’s right is wrong and what’s wrong is right. And he becomes the hero. Now he’s willing to accept Israel as a state. So peace is at hand. Chamberlain gets off the plane and he says, ‘I have a statement by Hitler. Here in London we will have peace in 1939. We will never have war with Germany. I have a peace treaty here signed by Hitler.’ The putz that he was. Well Arafat now says he’s going to accept Israel as a state but on the same day, probably within hours if not within the same hour of the same day over in Israel Prime Minister Ariel Sharon suffered a political defeat as his own party the Likud party voted to restate its opposition to the creation of a Palistinian state and go against Sharon and his arch-rival Netanyahu gained support of the Likud party and refuses to grant them a statehood based on the fact that that would be granting terrorists something positive for what they were doing and that there should be reprisals in its place; that not a reward but a reprisal. Then you have thousands in Rabin’s Square demonstrating against tanks and mobilizing the Israeli Army, which it staged to go into the Gaza at any given moment. So now you have bedlam in the Kinesset and now, of course, it looks bad for Israel because now they don’t want peace and Yassir Arafat finally claims he wants peace. Do you know how absurd this is? This is a bad marriage that when I love you, you don’t want me but when I want you, you don’t want me, and then when you want me, I don’t want you. This is a love/hate relationship. It is a yin/yang. It is what ever it is. It is 180-degree polarization. It is east/west. It is north/south. It is a magnetic push not a magnetic pull. It is a minus and a plus. I can’t say it any clearer than giving you all of these ridiculous analogies, other than it’s a Laurel and it’s a Hardy; and it’s an Ehrlichman and it’s a Haldeman. Let’s go to Leonette in Inglewood. Leonette, good morning. How are you?
E: Good morning and thank you for having such an informative show each time around. I wanted to bring up that prison — war industrial complex that America calls, you know, free enterprise. And Eisenhower had alluded to — about beware of the war industrial complex.
L: Yeah well who knew better than he because he was commanding general of the war.
E: Right, you know, and Hitler and them, you know, back then, they were already doing it but — because you had and (“HIS”) you know people like Prescott Bush, President Bush’s grandfather, and your, you know, Porsche and your Mercedes and all of these, you know, big corporations. They were already doing it but he articulated it. You know. Eisenhower. What the coming trend was and we have not gotten out of it. I believe in my heart we have not gotten out of it and so it doesn’t really matter who’ presiding over the Middle East or in Germany or anything like that because you have these people who obviously think that war is profitable and —
L: Do you know that —
E: — it’s going to be interesting what the scenario’s going to be for this third world war. Is this going to be all she wrote, you know?
L: Well it —
E: like the Bible speaks.
L: Well if its Armageddon you won’t have to worry about calling any shows any more.
E: This is true.
L: And I won’t have to worry about coming in and working at night, will I?
E: That’s why I say it’s imperative. You know, we’ve got to know who these folks are, you know, because most people — they’re like “Who?” and it’s probably going to be some of the same people from Hitler, you know, that was financing and —
L: Yeah but — Leonette —
E: — we’ve got these new guys with this new money.
E: You know?
L: Leonette, listen to me carefully. The people that are funding all of this. They are not going to be able to survive it either based on the fact that, very simply, if there is a holocaust, if indeed there is an Armageddon, they perish and they die too so what’s in it for them? You have to look at it from that angle also. There are no bunkers that are going to hold them. You destroy the Earth for the most part, you can’t come out for thirty years, forty years or else you’ll die of radiation so what are they going to do? Live underground? That’s what they want? They would rather have everybody dead and they live underground until they die or have what we have now? That isn’t much of a choice in my mind’s eye. Doug is in San Diego. Doug, welcome. How are you?
D: I’m good, Lee. Thanks for letting me on your show.
L: Nah, I decided that I’d finally have you, Doug.
D: Yeah, I appreciate it.
L: I’ve invited you to the party so many times. You just never show up and tonight you did.
D: Well, you know, I’m kind of shy but I’m doing the best I can.
L: How can we help you out?
D: Well I was listening to this conspiracy of the United Nations and I guess it’s kind of like they’re going to take over the world or something. That’s the way it sounded anyway and I don’t know if you’re aware of this or . . . (change of tape sides) . . . United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights and it was signed by 48 nations, 8 abstentions. And most of the rights are civil rights. You know, rights (“LIKE”) like what we value. And a few of them in the back — all the way in the back are a few economic rights that are just kind of there, you know what I mean?
L: What is your point, though?
D: Well she said some (or “SOME”) — your callers — one of your callers said that most of the leaders — I guess said the leaders, secretary generals or Socialists or something. (“ER”) At one point one of your callers said that. (“THE”) This emphasis on Universal Declaration of Human Rights certainly doesn’t look very Socialist to me.
L: What do you think? That my guest was full of crap?
D: Your guest?
D: Well, you know, I didn’t hear enough of your guest to make that judgement. But I would’ve liked to heard what she would have to say about — (“WHAT”) about this. You know, it did sound a little paranoid to me (“BUT”) but —
L: Well I mean do you believe in any conspiracies at all of our government? Are you a sheep that goes to the shepherd no matter what?
D: Well you know I’m kind of like you, Lee. I think about it, you know? I think that there are a lot of people in a lot of places because they work very hard. I don’t think that — I don’t think it’s like a criminal — a crime family that, you know, is greasing each other’s palm.
L: No, but you have to judge it on the final product, though. I mean in reality and I appreciate the call but in reality you have to judge the final product. Not every politician is corrupt. Not every politician sets out on a course to go to hell. No, that’s not true. The truth of the matter is there are plenty of people that have good convictions and really are honorable and run on those particular guidelines when they run for office. What is the bottom line? (“WELL”) They never are able to push things through because politics itself is what ruins it. The name politics. The game of politics. The game itself is almost unwinnable. You need a majority of voting in order to win and in order to do that you have to pay people off. How do you pay people off? By promising them certain items, certain situations in their districts. Or in their state. And that’s where you get bills that are tied-in with other things so the next thing you know if you’re trying to pass having a damn in your state — the next thing you know you’re also having on the same bill congress passed the fact that the Darter snail is going to be an endangered species in Florida along with the Tennessee Valley Authority getting an extra $500 million to run Kentucky and Tennessee with its power and Ohio’s involved because they need a new bridge constructed somewhere near — over from Cincinnati to Covington, Kentucky. That’s how they works. Everything is dove-tailed together. Nothing ever holds up on its own merit because its held out for hostage. That’s what’s wrong with politics. It starts at the low level and continues to the high level. It’s just that the high level is bigger stakes, that’s all. You and I can play poker for a dollar a hand or you and I can play poker for $10,000 a hand, depending on how much money we have. It’s still poker. If the stakes are higher, the higher you go. We’ll come back with our final segment, pick up on your phone calls. I’m Lee Kline and you are listening to KFI-AM 640, more stimulating talk radio. (commercials)
Tonight tonight while I’m holding you so nearTonight tonight what I’d give if I should hearThe dream angel bird have you dreamed a part of me . . .
L: Ah turning the clock back to the ’50s, back to the Eisenhower administration. Yes. When you didn’t need locks on your doors. And a smooth group like that was named The Mellow Kings. How appropriate. Lee Kline with you. It is 12:49. We’ve got about 11 minutes left to spend with each other on an early Monday morning. Good week to each and every one of you right here on KFI-AM 640, more stimulating talk radio. Let’s got to Jack in Oceanside. Jack, good morning to you. What’s on your mind?
A: Yeah, there is an article by Bill Gertz in The Washington Times and you can pull it up on the Internet. And it is called “Inside The Ring” and it was talking about — that Iran is moving its surface-to-air missiles around a nuclear facility. They seem to be preparing for an attack on that facility and —
L: Whoa whoa whoa. Who is preparing for an attack?
L: On who?
A: They’re — on their nuclear facility. (“V”)
L: You’re telling me that Iran is going to have a revolution?
A: No. An external attack probably from Israel. They’re moving —
L: You didn’t mention. That was the key part there. You didn’t mention who was going to do the bombing.
A: Here’s the key part. The key part in the article is that these surface-to-air missiles are hawk missiles and not just any hawk missiles. They’re I-Hawk missiles.
L: Those are ours.
A: That’s right. United States missiles and they don’t just have one. They have 150 of them.
L: And your point?
A: My point is — excuse me, wasn’t Iran part of the axis of evil?
L: Along with Iraq and North Korea.
A: So the point is what is this war about? Is this war on terrorism going to be about selling arms? Israel comes over and tries to knock out their nuclear power plant like they did with Iraq.
L: By the way, did you think that that was a bad thing to do at the time?
A: No, I really don’t know that much about it at the time because I wasn’t really interested in politics at the time.
L: Well do you think that — that means that Iraq would’ve had nuclear power and I don’t mean for generating power. They would have had nuclear weapons some 14 years ago.
A: Right. Well I tell you I have a problem in general with certain wealthy countries thinking they’re the only ones that have a right to weapons of mass destruction and that nobody else is intelligent enough to have them.
L: Well, listen, why don’t you sit down and talk to Saddam Hussein and tell him you agree with his theory that he can do whatever he wants, including gassing some of his people?
A: Well actually that would go to my last point was that personally I don’t believe anybody should have weapons of mass destruction and they all should have weapons inspectors, including us. But my point is the other lady mentioned Armageddon.
L: Right. (or “RIGHT”) Well I (“YES”) used the word Armageddon but that’s what she was inferring.
A: Right. Well it’s obvious is that that’s where we’re headed eventually and it seems on the path that the world is on it’s unavoidable and (“THERE’S”) to me there’s only one way to avoid it and I’d like to see you do a program on it at some point.
L: Which is what?
A: The only way to avoid Armageddon is to have some type of a one world government where there’s like one currency —
L: Isn’t that where we’re headed now?
A: Economically, yes.
L: How long have you been listening to the show tonight, Jack?
A: I was listening to it off an on for the night.
A: And I know that the guest you had on, I’ve heard her on another show.
L: Okay, but the point is, is that I’ve done other shows before, including tonight, with the one world government as a theme because that’s where we’ve been heading ever since 1990. At least openly.
A: Right. Well I was looking at it more as a theme of something that we should do and not be afraid of as just a point of survival for the planet.
L: But what about weapons of mass destruction being deployed — well I shouldn’t say deployed. Maybe the better term would be to have them extricated or defused in the positions of where they are and so that would make it a safer world and less chance of an Armageddon. After all, at one time when Russia, the United States, France and England were the only four countries that has nuclear weapons, there was no war. There was no mass destruction. There was no Armageddon. Now we have so many countries that have the capability that are crazy countries, such as the axis of evil, such as the Islamic world which are willing to die for their cause they become more of a risk-taker to send a missile our way than other countries that have weapons are. That’s why we feel the way we are. Would you feel safer if you knew that they didn’t have any weapons?
A: Well what I guess what I’m talking about is if we did have a one world government that my vision of it would be there would be no military — there would be no weapons of mass destruction. (“YEAH”) Probably we’d only have a police force.
L: How are you going to do that? You’ve got countries that won’t listen to anybody now.
A: Well you know that’s the point of what I’d like to see a show done on is how would we do that?
L: There’s your — yeah. (or “YEAH”) Jack —
A: How would we do that?
L: Jack —
A: Instead of — because everybody always says it won’t happen. Well fine if it won’t happen we’re going to end up destroying ourselves. That’s the alternative.
L: Well if that’s the way you feel, that’s the way you feel but unfortunately —
A: No, I think that’s the facts.
L: Well you may be right. Unfortunately, you may be right, Jack. What’s the bottom line to all of this? The bottom line is if you get — it’s like the United Nations. You can get 183 people in a room, you’re going to get 184 different points of view. You will never get everybody at one moment to agree on anything. You can’t get three people in a household to agree on anything. Om a budget. On a baseball team. Who to root for in basketball. You have somebody that hates the Lakers, somebody that likes the Lakers; somebody who’s a Kings fan, somebody who likes the Sharks or the Ducks. It’s endless. You’re never going — unless everybody is myopic in life; unless everybody is a Stepford wife; unless everybody marches to the same tune, wears the same clothes — you’ve got Naziism. That didn’t work either. Mark in Canoga Park, (BEEP) good morning.
Q: Thank you, Lee, for your efforts. So listening tonight I was trying to see behind this conspiracy of greed and it does seem to come down to the individual. So my comment would have to deal with the spiritual hopelessness underlying this psychology. And what I would say here is that if you look at the media and society in general, there is not the spiritual messages being heard by spiritual experiencers. There are good materials like testament.org on the Internet yet it seems like anything about God is just not — (“IS”) something out of line. And I was just —
L: Whoa wha wha I — all right, let me ask you a couple quick questions. Number one: what you’re saying is, is that we lack spirituality as a society overall globally? Is that a fair statement of what you’re saying?
Q: Well I think there is an idea — people have their own idea of spirituality.
L: Yeah well the Muslims obviously think blowing up other people and going to nirvana is their way to meet Allah and that is spiritual, isn’t it?
Q: Yes, but a Mohammed in today’s day and age would not be even allowed to give a message in any kind of mainstream media.
L: Well would Jesus?
Q: Of course not.
L: So what are we saying here?
Q: That’s why (or “THAT’S WHY”) — well we have the Internet now so I’m going to look at womensgroup.org and I hope that you’ll look at testament.org yet I think this is the one area that is not being totally shut out from the advertisements and the special interests. I’ve gone to so-called New Age symposiums where the people there have not said one word about helping their fellow man. It’s all aliens and government ties and clandestine agendas and it’s really scary that there is this effort being placed in creating hoax people.
L: All right, listen we’re running out of time, Mark, but you know what? You know what the bad part of all this is? Not only are you right in what you’re saying from a spiritual standpoint, but take a look at the Catholic church and what’s in the papers everyday and what they’re going through. The demise of the Catholic church — at least from a political standpoint and most likely in the longrun from a financial standpoint if they have to pay everybody off of what they’re doing here. So religion is not only not on the tip of everybody’s tongue or on the minds of people when they’re in a group, when you pick up the paper and you read what’s going on, even the spiritual leaders and certain organizations such as Omans and cardinals that are covering priests, you know how absurd this really is?
Q: And they don’t understand how God’s hand is behind — working behind the scenes to make these things happen.
L: Well, listen, we’ve run out of time unfortunately on a great topic, Mark . . .
Q: (off air) Okay, well I’ll call again, Lee.
L: . . . You should’ve been the first caller. Call in a little bit earlier next weekend.
Q: (off air) I was waiting a long time.
L: All right, this is going to do it for another show and for another weekend. I want to thank Joan Veon from (line disconnected)
