You know all the Hobbits are sitting on the edge of their seats. They can’t wait. We’re going to break out in a Hobbit celebration here. Finally some victory for “Lord of the Rings” after being snubbed all these years. Finally Hollywood is (“HI”) acknowledging. Are you following at all what’s happening in the Olympics? This is interesting in light of what we’re going through domestically with the gay marriages and all the rest. Dateline: Athens, a plan to allow transsexuals to take part in the Olympics has been put off. Apparently, the International Olympic Committee has failed to reach a consensus whether transsexuals (X) can take part in the Olympics. And, again, this is the Greek Olympics are (“CAR”) coming up in a few months here, summertime. (X) This discussion on the transsexuals is a difficult decision, (X) according to the IOC president. The rule would cover both male-to-female and female-to-make cases. Some contend that transsexual athletes have a physical advantage against other women because men are believed to have a higher level of — you know what I mean. So that’s what they’re worried about. “Hey, that’s really a man under there. She’s jumping higher. She’s racing faster.” However, doctors say levels and muscle mass drop after hormone therapy and sex change surgery. “It’s much more complicated for someone with no medical training to understand what we’re dealing with,” said one Olympic member. So the decision to allow transsexuals to take place in the Olympic games. And if they don’t I’m sure Rupert Murdoch can have the special — the Transsexual Olympics just in time for the July sweeps. Q: Well regarding the matter of Hollywood, I believe it’s — the problem is that people don’t want to examine or question their lives or choices. And that’s why you see it where it is today. Now when I — in a less enlightened period of my own life, I worked in Hollywood. In fact, I worked on the movie “Braveheart.” And I researched William Wallace. And I knew how artificial the “Braveheart” screenplay was yet I thought it was in the studio’s best interest to cover-up the inaccuracies. The movie, in fact, glamorized war and transformed one of history’s monsters into a heroic figure.

Q: (speaking into tape recorder) Well I must say I was disturbed by the ‘Bob’ business. I was considering the possibilities of what to say. And I thought that perhaps the ‘Bob’ business indicated that some of my thoughts were not coming from a place of forgiveness and love and shared evolving because that’s really what my story is. It’s something for others to compare with, in terms of their own life and see how much Love we have. So there was — there were many things I was tempted to say about “Braveheart.” But there’s a lot of other factual, I mean, things that could be said. There’s been a lot of publicity and throughout the media about the film. They’ve turned it into an event. I saw an article in the L.A. Times (“Answering the [casting] call” by David A. Keeps) where it talked about the actors who portrayed Jesus over the years. Apparently the first one was — I’m looking at the article here — oh Frank Russell who “portrayed the Messiah in the 1898 Edison production of ‘The Passion Play of Oberammergau,’ shot on the roof of New York’s Grand Central Palace.” Anyway, I was making some comments about “Braveheart” on some Internet websites, such as http://www.hollywoodjesus.com and some Christian websites. And what I mentioned was that one of the learning experiences of my life was working on the press kit for “Braveheart,” presenting such a phrase in the handbook of production information as “It was an age stained by cruelty and violence, yet also a splendid and heroic time when the ideal of freedom was first beginning to thrive.” As the film was released, I wasn’t aware of a single journalist who questioned the accuracy of Gibson’s depiction of Wallace’s life, perhaps satisfied with the explanations provided by the press kit. Now, more spiritually enlightened than at that time, I am aware that corporate and national entities can become evil principalities for those who lack spiritual awareness. Wouldn’t I have liked to say that my spiritual path is chronicled at the non-commercial website testament dot org. I guess I — if I’d been in a bitchy mood, one might have brought up that whole business of the parallels between Rome and our own times. Is President Bush our Emperor Claudius? If I really wanted to be bold — I hope this isn’t negative — but I myself have always been challenged to look beyond the surface of the King James Bible. John Dominic Crossan was one of those who dared looking past the surface metaphors. But with Mel Gibson’s new movie, it’s not really a metaphor, is it? You see it in vivid dramatic license. I recently received The Bible Fraud by Tony Bushby, an Australian author and apparently his book is an accounting of the Masonic version of the Christ story. I’m not quite sure — I haven’t really reached a conclusion about it all yet but I find the name Rabbi Jesus Cunobeline interesting. But just as interesting are the parallels between the Jesus figure of the Mahabarata, Krishna — and Jesus. There’s so much material in libraries and bookstores and universities that no one person really can ever make sense of it all. But you can always follow your emotions. So I — again I have to question how superficial is Mel Gibson’s film? And since this is a difficult area to address, let me address something that I’ve always personally wondered at — and I hope I’m not saying anything offensive. One of the things I’ve always wondered about metaphorically in the book of John was that whole business about he made himself the Son of God. Looking at my own experience, there is no parallel with the Bible’s Jesus — someone stating to be The Son of God instead of “We all should strive to be a son of God.” That’s what I’m attempting to do. So on one level perhaps metaphorically can a case be made that metaphorically anyone who attempts to make himself The Son of God is going to get crucified? Now I do hold some unpopular views. For example — the book of Job. My belief is that Job lost his game with God or any — choose any name of God that you believe in as being accurate. I know with Moses, there’s a certain name and this certain name had links with the name Michael in ancient literature. Well I’ve read at least one source that says yes. Now John 19:1: “Thou couldst have no power at all against me except it were given thee from above. Therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.” Now as one well aware of the weaknesses and foibles of us Christed ones, metaphorically might this be a representation of weakness: perhaps ‘he’ should be capitalized in context with the beginning of the sentence. Maybe there is a hidden metaphor of bitchiness in the Bible. Well let’s see what’s happening on the Drudge show. It’s a commercial, of course. And yes, I’ve been listening to the show earlier and he and his associate — it sounded like propaganda to me. They always have to turn Hollywood into something ‘liberal’ as opposed to something ‘conservative.’ And you heard what I said to the screener. Now if he was going to get political, I was going to say probably something like, “Well just a moment, Matt. I mean for Pete’s sake, you’re a Clearchannel host!” Maybe next year at the Expo if I go, I can talk about “New Esoteric Spiritual Traditions” such as ‘The Bobs’ or anagrams within names as warnings. Certainly people are ignoring me to avoid questioning their lives and choices.
