S: Thank you for calling “Coast.” Can you hold please?
G: — with Earth. But scientists have now said there is little support for investigating how to turn aside a big deadly space rock. Big mistake. The United States spends about $3 1/2 to $4 million a year—that’s nothing—to track asteroids and comets that might hit the Earth at some point but very little on strategies to get our planet out of the way. That according to an astronomer with NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He says there’s been little money spent on studies. Part of the problem has been the lack of an actual hazard. So far there’s really no clear danger of an asteroid strike big enough to damage the Earth and so nobody seems to care. But if one were detected in the future, right now there is no plan to destroy it, deflect it. No one knows. And so tonight on “Coast to Coast” I shall say it again. Big mistake. S: Keep listening. When you hear the wild card called, you’ll be — when was the last time you were on, by the way?

Q: That’s why I had to call because I — because he asked me a question and I said something that was not quite correct.
S: Well, you know, we still space them out for a week though. I can’t . . .
Q: You do? Because he’s never said that before.
S: Yeah. Yeah, we do.
Q: Also, last — on the broadcast last time, I guess you were having technical problems, weren’t you? Because there was a strange voice that was saying, (“SOME”) like, “Lose him.” And I was trying to — was that (or “WAS THAT”) — was that the producer who said that?
S: No. There wasn’t any voice . . .
Q: I mean if — because I taped it. (“I” “YOU KNOW”) Because I was calling so I taped the broadcast and you can hear it right before the end of the hour and a half. You hear a voice saying, “Lose him.” Either that or it’s EVP. (“BUT I”) It didn’t sound like EVP to me.
S: Yeah, must be something else bleeding in over ’cause no, wasn’t us.

S: No. Not new at all.

Q: Yeah, well you — (“I”) see, I mean I think this is terrible. I mean you don’t know what kind of karma you’re going to have to deal with by keeping people off the air.

Q: (speaking into tape recorder) So I’m listening to George and his news items of the day. I mean he just doesn’t get it the way Art does. Art may be many things but he isn’t stupid when it comes to knowing what’s important news and what isn’t. Anyway, since I was screened again, I thought I would say what I had planned to say. Something to the effect of: I didn’t think — I didn’t really mean to say that seeing the pest control trucks meant that Someone of Something would exterminate us; more as a warning that we will exterminate ourselves. The day after that call, Saturday, I only heard a few songs on the radio and one of them was “If You Don’t Know Me By Now” by Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes. I heard the song again today when I dropped by the 99 cents store and I don’t want to hear it anymore. I don’t know what else I would’ve said. I would’ve liked to have said my testament.org website address. Maybe I would comment on the “One Night in Bangkok” song, about the music that played right before I was on. Sometimes lyrics can have a different meaning for listeners than they do for those who wrote the song. I’ve talked about some of the lyrics before

Q: When I heard that in London seeing the play “Chess,” it didn’t really ring any bells. But now all the different songs I heard back then can be interpreted in different ways. Such as Morrissey’s “Hairdresser On Fire.” Anyway, well I think my Email to George expressed something. I guess I don’t really communicate all the details. If I’m talking about synchronicity and cars, I guess I should mention all the different Jesus fish insignias I see all the time; or the dove of peace insignias; or all the Sentras that seem to be in front of my car. I do pay attention to these things. Well Art’s going to be back tomorrow: “the triumphant return” as George said.

Q: So it’s Thursday. I listened to the first three hours of last night’s four-hour show with Art. And I found him on a different emotional level than his last appearance, the transcript for which partially will appear on my website soon. Now he might know the difference between trivial stories and important stories but that doesn’t mean he’ll share with you the important stories, obviously. (“LEAD US”) Anyway, it was very horrifying. The guest was Nick Cook, a defense and aerospace journalist for Jane’s Defense Weekly, “the bible of the international defense industry” in Art’s words. A very high profile military author. And this — there are — I guess (people in) every industry calls themselves ‘the business.’ As I heard once during the interview. But he is very well connected, obviously. He had a documentary appear on the Discovery Channel and his comments are cited all the time by the media, apparently. He talks about defense and security issues for the BBC news, ITN, Sky News, CNN, BBC World Service. He’s been interviewed recently for “Fresh Air” on NPR and CNN FN. What a perfect person for Art to be speaking to because much of what he spoke about was war with Iraq, which is something he’s very enthusiastic about. And once he even used the bumper music about war not being good for absolutely nothing and then Art added, “Usually.” I even heard him make comments about liberals. I wonder if he’s been (“LL”) listening to Rush Limbaugh while he was away. So there was a lot of discussion of Iraq and the USA and I did find it to be propaganda. It just was irrational. Everyone may have a bias but I have seldom heard such a rationality. There was nothing said about the threat of retaliation for a country like Iraq, should they create terror. And there’s really no evidence to suggest that they have. I guess the most one can come up with at the present is a lot of unexplained forest fires; or, actually, some of the recent forest fires this summer were even more implausible than some kind of conspiracy theory about terrorism. What a world we live. So another show of hate and violence and fear as opposed to the ennobling parts of life: how we’re all connected to Spirit and God, our Higher Self. It was all the lower self. I keep thi(nking) — (“I”) like yesterday when I saw the car bumper sticker that said “Anything Can Happen,” well apparently not with Art. We all have this process with Spirit interacting with us. I can’t imagine what’s going on with Art. He talked about building a fence because children were making dust. He said his wife was having more asthma attacks. And his back problem is unremittent. One of the EVPs suggested that the spasms would continue. Another EVP I heard during the show — they were discussing — Art said shouldn’t he be worried about weapons of mass destruction such as chemical or disease agents and I heard an EVP saying, “YES” or “YEAH.” It’s a very complex issue. He also played The Doors. He said the line in the song about seven horse being on the mark was a very — I can’t remember his exact words. So the perpetual cycle of violence is ever given momentum by the media, including “Coast to Coast AM.” I mean objectively considering what we did to Afghanistan without any trial, without any due process of law — against a mastermind that’s never even been proven as well, I think you can (“UN”) without any bias say that the mad dog of the world right now is the United States. The issue of malicious intent came up. And I think any other country in the world would have to say that the United States has showed more malicious intent to other countries that Iraq has recently. I’m not saying that there are easy answers and I don’t believe in taking a sentimentalized view of people and yet if we can educate people about Spirit and let them know that when you kill another person that you kill God, as much as if someone kills you they’re killing God and there is karma. Anyway, Art is living proof if you give — share the information, share the facts, the data, the parallels, make a case — and for whatever reason it’s either ignored or rejected. Anyway, they said he’ll be on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for a while and George will be on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. I don’t know what I should say. I still feel desperate to do something. I keep thinking back about when I visited Paul in the retirement home and that woman whose back went into spasms. And I’ve had spasms — I mean very unimportant ones but I always interpreted them as Someone trying to get my attention for some — or in some way.

Q: So now I do regret what I said about George. Even though a lot of his little freak accident reports seem trivial to me, nothing could be as bad as the war mongering I heard last night. Again, I don’t know what to do. I guess I’ll pray for the world. And for God and for people. I don’t know what next will happen in Art’s story. So far, it’s been so regrettable — at least, that’s my view.

Q: I wonder if people like Art realize that all this talk of war and all this money — the billions spent on the military here in the United States gives a very clear message to the world, encouraging them to bolster their own defenses and military and weapons of mass destruction in a vicious, never-ending circle. And, of course, wars are linked to the sustained success of the military industrial complex. So what I’ll be doing is transcribing and adding more tapes soon. All the calls that I’ve heard so far with maybe an exception really tell you a lot, if you know how Spirit works.

Q: I also was reflecting on something else I didn’t like in my call. At least I didn’t sound crazy. It wasn’t quite as bad altogether as I thought for a while. But also when I (“MM”) made that remark about “bar-eljon” sounding like ‘alien’ — I mean that was sort of ridiculous. It just shows how difficult I find the whole alien visitation area, having so few of my own experiences in a meaningful way with aliens. I’ve had the dreams. The last time, I heard the humming which suggested a visitation of some sort but I have no idea what that meant. It might have been a metaphor even. It might have been a joke. I don’t think so. Do we all have aliens assigned to us? Anyway, obviously there’s a lot regarding aliens that suggest metaphors, good and bad. (“I MEAN”) Those people who channel aliens who say stupid things is an example of a bad metaphor. So I still am not certain what level — there are so many different levels of reality that aliens exist on. In dreams they can be used as metaphors. And yet there’s also a lot of evidence to suggest that there are actual visitations going on physically in the world, not that it’s something that I can say I’ve ever experienced myself. It’s definitely the most difficult area — one of the most difficult areas of the book. I went to the library yesterday and there’s very few books of interest in that small library (“NN”) near-by but I had to check out Colin Wilson’s Rogue Messiahs: Tales of Self-Proclaimed Saviors. I started reading it and he talks about heterosexuality and his experiences; and a co-incidence of a woman’s dress blowing up. I’ve only read a little bit. It will be interesting to see if he’s also as comfortable talking about his homosexuality impulses.

Q: Well I (or “WELL I”) — as I was working on the Tape #750 transcript, I thought that some of the anecdotes (“WELL”) interesting when you can hear it because of the tones of the people’s voices. Reading the transcript leaves something to be desired. Some of the subjects really were not that striking because you hear similar things all the time on “Coast to Coast.” Anyway, as I was typing the unattributed sounds I realized I was hitting a lot of the Z key instead of the X key by accident, which is unusual for me. But then I realized that maybe Mighael was trying to say that these — this part is boring. So I went through and I edited out the calls that I didn’t think were spot-on to what I’m trying to convey. So one of the things I think I’ve learned during this project is that words with C and T often produce a sound not unlike an unattributed sound. “Too. Too. Too. Cliche. Cliche. Cliche.” Just to give you an example. I don’t know what this means: if I should keep it in the transcripts where I’ve marked unattributed sounds next to Cs and Ts. I don’t know exactly how to handle this.

Journal.” So I listened to what I just said and the last time I said journal (more slowly each time) didn’t have as prominent a sound to the pronunciation of the ‘J’ but there was an unattributed sound still there. So I guess Cs and Ts and Js can create sounds like unattributed sounds. “A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P Q R S T U V W X Y Z.”

Q: So I’ll listen to some portions of the tapes I’ve already double-checked. What I think I’ll do is just put a note saying that some letters and letter combinations seem to create consistent sounds like unattributed sounds; however, many sounds do not show such a consistent correlation so in the transcripts I identify clear sounds, some of which may be linked to particular letter arrangements. Yet many are not so this needs more study obviously.
