(TRANSCRIBER’S NOTE: I CALLED “COAST TO COAST AM” ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 17, 2002. I SUPPLEMENTED THE RECORDING OF MY PHONE CALL WITH A TAPE OF THE BROADCAST MADE ON MY RADIO CASSETTE RECORDER.)
R: (bumper music is “The Chase” by Giorgio Moroder) To talk with George Noory, from east of the Rockies call (gives number), west of the Rockies call (gives number), and the wild card line is open at (gives number). First time callers may reach George at (gives number). (X) And now, filling in for Art Bell, here’s George Noory.
G: And good morning, good evening, wherever you may be across the nation, around the world. I’m George Noory in for Art Bell and this is “Coast to Coast AM.” Art is still nursing that very sore back tonight. He’ll return to the kingdom of Nye as soon as he can. Open lines this hour. She is best known for her (X) accurate prediction of the major eruption of Washington’s Mt. St. Helens (X) on May 18, 1980. Charlotte King was only off by 12 minutes. Not bad. And this prediction threw her into the limelight, attracted the at(X)tention of scientists. She feels things in her body — pains in her body. (X) From the Earth’s changing magnetic field. That’s next hour. Hey, you’ve got to go Art’s (X) website. You’ve got to do this right now. Click on “What’s New.” My oh my, what is happening to the Sun? After a period of relative calm, the sun has become rather spirited in recent days, unleashing a very picturesque full halo eruption of electrified gas and other powerful shots that could strike the Earth. That’s why you’ve got to see it on Art’s website. It’s up there. Keith has it under “What’s New.” It’s a solar salvo seemed to ex(X)plode in all directions (X) from the Sun, a so-called full halo. What an injection. Now this storm most likely originated (X) on the other side of the Sun and they say it’s heading away from the Earth. But a similar outburst from Monday (X) could still buffet the planet, probably by Thursday. And in some time periods, it’s (X) already Thursday. Those that strike the Earth can distort its magnetic field and sometimes it disrupts radio and satellite communications and produces very colorful sky displays. The agency, by the way — The National (X) Oceanic and Advent — Atmospheric Administration forecasts a ten percent chance of severe geo-magnetic activity when it arrives. Ten percent. And how about this? The most distant object ever to be studied confirms that the universes’s expansion is accelerating. You know, there’s always been that argument. Is it going? Is it not? Well they say it is accelerating. And they say its iron-rich nature of what they have studied poses very new questions for astronomers. (X) This object is more than 13.5 billion light years from Earth. Almost — (X) almost at the beginning of the universe. We have captured this with the European Space Agency’s XMM Newton spacecraft.
(TRANSCRIBER’S NOTE: MY CALL WAS ANSWERED AROUND THIS TIME.)
S: Thank you for calling “Coast to Coast AM.” Can you please hold?
Q: Sure.
G: And this is a record. (X) It’s the oldest object that they have spotted so far. (X) And they think it’s probably about a billion or so years old. And in order for enough time to have passed for several generations of what they call iron-spewing supernova explosions to pollute that area (X) out there very far out in space. President Bush, by the way, is hearing from the attorney generals in eleven states. They want him to do something about global warming and they want him to do it now. The eleven are all Democrats. They criticize Bush for failing to create a national policy to curb carbon dioxide emissions from cars and power plants. Now in the letter it does praise the administration for a report two months ago that spelled out the seriousness of the global warming problem. But the same letter argues that the administration hasn’t yet come up with a credible plan to deal with the findings of that report. Got a couple Emails I want to read for you. “Hey George, a while back you asked callers to share their experiences with the very low frequency hum which shook houses. (X) I had heard about this on another show about two years ago. It was mentioned that this hum was probably caused by the U.S. Navy communicating with their submarines off shore while submerged. (X) I think (X) very low frequency was used (X) for this. That’s probably what it is.” How about this one? (X) “George, my father died nine years ago. He didn’t believe in an afterlife. When he was dying, I promised him that I would take care of my mother. Mother lived with me until she died on April 2nd, 2002. She was in good health and active until March 29th. She slept in her big chair and I was in my chair next to her so I could look after her. Early in the morning, (X) I was dozing when a loud voice in my head said, “Dad.” (X) The shock woke me up. I opened my eyes. There was my father standing straight, (X) looking at Mother. He didn’t pay any attention to me and later I realized that I was given that vision to release me from the promise. And also to tell (X) my dad”—wow—“that there really is much, much more out there.” And how about this? A couple days ago, we were talking about scary movies. (X) “I’m a horror movie collector, George. (X) I’ve got 600 movies on VHS tapes from the ’20s to the present. The scariest movie of all time for me?” Get this — “‘Fantasia.’ That’s right. ‘Fantasia’ (X) chills me to the bone. Second place: ‘Nosferatu (X) The Vampire.'” (X) If you want to Email me, just go to Art’s website, click on (X) “Interact,” “Email Hosts,” and there you go. In a moment, open (X) lines, stories of the day, so don’t touch your dial. I’m George Noory and this is “Coast to Coast AM” (commercial segue)
(TRANSCRIBER’S NOTE: I SPOKE TO THE SHOW’S OPERATOR DURING THE COMMERCIALS.)
S: Thank you for holding. Who’s this?
Q: Hi. This is Mark.
S: Mark, where are you calling from?
Q: Canoga Park.
S: Mark in Canoga Park. And that’s — what state again?
Q: California.
S: Okay. Just turn off the radio. Listen to the show through the phone and when George calls for you, you’ll be on the air.
Q: Thank you.
G: (X) Losing weight is not an easy task. For a lot of people, it is very difficult. It has been very difficult for “Coast to Coast” engineer Will Hilliard. He has tried everything to lose weight. It never worked for him until one day he heard Art talk (X) about Ultimate Slim and he started (X) trying (it). And he started melting away his excess body fat. (X) And he was trimming those unwanted inches. He didn’t have a strict diet. He definitely didn’t have strenuous exercise. And he’s dropped 55 pounds now and five pant sizes. It’s amazing. Now I don’t know if Will (X) has bought new pants or not. If he hasn’t, he’s like walking in them. And he says yeah, he’s bought a few. But (X) Ultimate Slim is what you want. (X) It’s an all-natural, scientifically (X) designed formula to metabolize your fat into energy. Within just minutes of taking Ultimate Slim, you’re going to feel more energetic. Within days, you’re going to start (X) losing inches. Your clothes will be looser like his and within weeks (X) your waist will be thinner. I recommend Ultimate Slim because it’s the perfect way to get that lean, sexy body even if you don’t have time for a lot of calory counting or long sweaty workouts. So what are you waiting for? Why don’t you burn fat the quick and easy way? Look great, feel great with Ultimate Slim. (X) And when you order (X) two bottles of Ultimate Slim, you’ll get a third bottle (X) absolutely free. (X) You’ll also get a free bottle of the new Ultimate Slim P.M. Liquid Formula, another $30 value. (X) Why don’t you take Ultimate Slim P.M. at bedtime to help burn fat while you sleep. And Ultimate Slim and Ultimate Slim P.M. They’re the perfect solution for the ultimate body so call now (gives number twice). One more time for you (gives number).
A: What would you give to see UFO secrecy end? To bring the truth out about secret energy projects that could save our environment, end poverty in the world to prove we’re not alone. The Disclosure Project and Dr. Steven Greer need your help (X) to get the truth out. With your tax deductible donation to the Disclosure Project, you can help fund the next national press club disclosure event (X) in Washington, D.C. and help record dozens of new government and military witnesses’ testimony. Now to make this happen, they need to raise $200,000 (X) by August 1st. Help them by making a donation right now on their website www.diclosureproject.org or call (gives number). And for the first time sign up as a subscriber to the online Disclosure Project news service where for just $7 a month you can hear the never before, (X) full version of the testimony of dozens of top secret military insiders interviewed by the Disclosure Project. Plus monthly interviews and updates (X) by Dr. Greer. Go to www.disclosureproject.org or call (gives number) to make your donation. Or subscribe to this amazing (X) online news service. (X) And also order the video tapes and books of (X) government insider testimony that proves UFOs are real. Only (X) you can make disclosure happen. So call right to donate, (X) subscribe to the news service or order the historic videos and books of military witness testimony. That’s (gives number) or on the Net at www.disclosureproject.org. (commercial segue)
G: Here are some of the stories of the day. You know, we’ve been following this vampire (X) story in England. It (X) continues to get more and more bizarre. (X) “A vampire-obsessed teenager accused of killing a woman and drinking her (X) blood was arrested two months before the murder when he asked a police officer to quote (X) “Bite my neck.” The arresting officer did not link (X) the incident to the murder even after gruesome details of the killing were revealed (X) on the BBC show “Crime Watch.” (X) A 90-year-old widow was stabbed to death at her bungalow (X) last November. Her heart was ripped out and wrapped in newspaper before being placed in a saucepan on top of a silver platter next to her body.” Jeeze. (X) Very sad story to report tonight on “Coast to Coast,” around the country and the world. It happens far too often in this country. A little kidnaped five-year-old girl was sexually assaulted and asphyxiated before her body was (X) dumped near a rural highway like a calling card warning that the killer intends to strike again, according to authorities in California. (X) An autopsy confirms that little Samantha Runyon was sexually assaulted. (X) There’s a quote from the Orange County sheriff (X) on this person who did this heinous crime: (X) “Don’t sleep. (X) Don’t eat. (X) Because we’re coming after you.” And they say that the (X) killer is likely to be both a serial —
Q: “We.”
G: — rapist and serial killer. (X) There’s a description of what he looks like that has been on television and it is now on the Web. Sad story there. (X) In Texas, a former nurse has been charged (X) with killing four patients. It’s a nurse (X) at a Texas hospital (X) and she is suspected in the deaths of at least sixteen others. The former nurse, 36 years old — Grand Jury has indicted her. In Liberty, Missouri, the sickness continues. (X) A man has been arrested for burning a kitten (X) on a barbeque grill as several other people stood around and watched (X) in amusement. (X) A witness pulled the scorched seven-week-old tabby from the hot (X) coals but it was so severely (X) injured that it (X) had to be put to death. (X) The people around watching kept saying, “Meow, meow.” (X) And they were poking at it with a stick, (X) according to the rescuer, Sherry Scott, who burned her hand trying to get that kitten (X) out of the (X) coals. (X) The person (X) who’s been accused (X) could get five years in prison for this. (X) You can’t compare this to a murder (X) of a little girl but it is still sick in our society. (X X) It never ends in the Middle East in Israel. Situation still very bad. (X) A dual bomb attack killed at least (X) five people, injuring more than 40 near a cafe in Tel Aviv. An eyewitness to the attack says that two homicide bombers exploded a few seconds apart. The militant (X) group Islamic (X) Jihad (X) claimed responsibility for the attack, saying the bombings were, of course, in response to the suffering of the Palestinian people. The death toll in(X)cluded the two bombers. In Turkey, that country there has agreed to back the United States (X) if it takes military action to topple Saddam Hussein (X) but has asked that Washington write off $5 billion in debt (X) and guarantee that the Kurds would not be given an independent state. (X) An FBI counter-intelligence (X) chief, Dale Watson, says that he believes that Osama bin Laden is dead. Now we’ve heard over the (X) past couple (X) days from German sources (X) and an Arabic newspaper that bin Laden is still alive but this FBI counter-terrorism chief says no, he believes he is dead. It’s the first time that a senior U.S. law enforcement official has publicly given an opinion (X) on the al-Qaeda leader’s status even though he admits (X) that he has no proof, no evidence for why he believes this. In Nebraska, the weather continues to be hot and dry. And the numbers of grasshoppers — it’s everywhere. Swelled by the drought, (X) grasshoppers and what they call Mormon crickets are ravaging crops and pastures across the West in what could be the biggest situation since World War II. They’re even eating the paint off some of the houses, says a farmer out there who raises alfalfa, (X) corn, soy beans and cattle on 1,600 acres. He said thousands upon thousands of grasshoppers (X) jump out of the way as he walks by. (X) They (X) threaten the livelihood of farmers and ranchers already suffering because of the dry spell. (X) A mild winter and a hot, dry weather right now in the spring. (X) That’s to blame. Thousands. (X) In New Orleans, health officials are keeping a (X) close eye on the incidence of West Nile Virus in Louisiana (X) after four new cases were confirmed this week, bringing the number there to seven this year. The federal Centers for Disease (X) Control and Prevention confirmed this week (X) that a 34-year-old woman, three men 17, 62 and 76 (X) had the mosquito-borne virus. Now West Nile Virus has killed eighteen people (X) along the East Coast since it was first detected in 1999. Though not everyone dies, it is very serious. Last summer was the most severe. (X) Sixty-six humans were infected, nine died. (X) Now mosquitoes spread (X) the West Nile from infected birds to humans who can pass them along (“E”) deadly encephalitis or the swelling of the brain. Humans cannot pass the virus to each other. The symptoms, just so you should know, are similar to the flu, includ(X)ing fatigue (X) and fever. There is no known cure (X) for the virus. The CDC urges people to report (X) dead birds so if you happen to see (X) dead birds in your area, (X) call your local health authorities (X) and protect yourself against mosquito bites, of course. And get rid of standing water. This is not a good story to tell you about. It’s called “The Technique That Is Used To (X) Create The First Synthetic Polio Virus” that was revealed last week (X) could also be used, they say now, (X) to create Ebola. That’s all we need. Or even the 1918 flu strain that killed up to 40 million people worldwide. What is even more worrying, say scientists, is that these are easier ways (“OF”) recreating microbes. (X) You can simply add key genes (X) to a close relative. (X) And you know what that means, don’t you? Listen to this day that a camper had in Seneca Lake, Arizona. (X) A man out of camping with his brother woke up. He had a headache, right? Why? Only to discover (X) what that headache was. A bear was (X) biting him in the head. (X) Thanks to his quick reactions. He also had a handgun he was carrying, Rodney (X) Black is okay. Black and his brother were sleeping at their campsite at the Seneca Lake, Arizona when he felt (X) an intense pain in his head. (X) He said the next thing he knew he was on the ground, blood was (X) gushing everywhere and he couldn’t see a thing. He said his brother screamed out, “Bear! Bear!” And he managed to get (X) out his handgun and shoot the animal dead. (X) “I don’t know where I hit him,” he says. “He went down on the first shot and I emptied my revolver into him. I knew that I needed to make that first shot or I was in more trouble. A hungry bear is one thing. A hungry, angry bear is something even worse.” (X) And they say the Mayans loved (X) chocolate (X) 2,600 years ago. (X) They have found now earthware (X) of teapots with cocoa all over the place. And they think that the Mayans just loved that and drank it all the (X) time. And that — some of the stories of the day. Let’s go to your phones. First time caller in Russellville, (X) Arkansas, Rick, you’re on “Coast to Coast.” Welcome, (X) Rick. (X)
I: Hi, George. How are you doing? Love the show.
G: I’m doing great. Thank you so much. (X)
I: I was calling about that — the (X) calendar that you did the interview with not too long ago?
G: Yes.
I: The 2012? I’d seen a show on Discovery Channel, I believe it was, where they (X) talked about the — it was (X) I believe it was the true story of Jesus or something; that they’d figured it out that the calendar was six years off. You ever heard anything about that?
G: I have heard that the calendar dates have been off. Now that show was with our guest (X) Maurice Cotterell and we were (X) talking about that year 2012. In — a lot of people think, Rick, that we’re in for some (X) problems when that calendar year ends.
I: Yes. They actually did another thing with the com(X)puters and the (X) star — the bright star. They looked back on the (X) com(X)puters and they said it actually (X) lined up six years before when the (X) time of Christ was supposedly born so we might be actually at (X) 2008 right now.
G: (small laugh) Well I think the Mayans have got it correct. I don’t think the Mayans were using the biblical version of the calendar. They’ve got their own.
I: Right. But I just thought I’d throw that out there and see if you or anybody thought, (X) you know, it might be a little bit closer than what we’re thinking.
G: Well you never know. You never know. I’ll tell you one thing, (X) being on “Coast to Coast” in the year (X) 20(X)12 will be very exciting, won’t it? (X)
I: Yeah.
G: Just imagine that (X) for a moment. (X) 2012 rolling along — (X) I mean to me it’s more exciting than the talk of Planet X which is coming around, they say, next year.
I: I know it. This is one of the most exciting times ever to be on the Earth.
G: Yeah, absolutely. Next few years, we’re going to see all kinds of changes. Thanks for your call, Rick.
I: Alright, George. Thanks. (X)
G: Let’s go to the wild card (BEEP) caller now in Canoga Park, California. Mark, you’re on (X) “Coast to Coast.” Hi, Mark.
Q: Hi, George.
G: Good to talk — and I mi(ght) — I may hold you over if you don’t get every thing out here, okay?
Q: Okay, (X) fine. (X) It’s on the subject of (X) anomalous perception or psychic abilities.
G: Alright.
Q: I don’t think any conversation’s really complete without mentioning Edgar Cayce.
G: He’s the best.
Q: And I found one anecdote in particular that I really think (X) shows a lot. (X) I mean (X) last night there was some discus(X)sion (X)on remote viewing.
(TRANSCRIBER’S NOTE: THE PREVIOUS NIGHT’S GUEST WAS STEPHAN SCHWARTZ, WHO ONCE WAS SPECIAL ASSISTANT TO THE CHIEF OF NAVAL OPERATIONS. SOME SOUNDS HEARD DURING MY CALL—NOT INDICATED IN THE TRANSCRIPT—MAY BE ATTRIBUTABLE TO MY SPEAKING TOO CLOSE TO THE PHONE [?] ON THIS OCCASION.)
G: Um-huh.
Q: And I (X) think since he was from Virginia Beach, (X) I thought it was curious that he didn’t get (X) around to (X) talking about Edgar but there does seem to be a morality factor in (X) this phenomena. (“AN”) Of course, (X) Edgar for a year was not able to use his gift after becoming involved with a man who used him to learn horse race winners. (X)
G: That’s right. (small laugh)
Q: But (“THERE’S”) there’s one particular (X) anecdote I wanted to share so can I hold over?
G: Yeah. Absolutely. (X)
Q: (off air) Okay.
G: You hold over and we’ll get your story. And we’ll get everybody’s story because we’ve got open lines this hour and next hour Charlotte King actually feels pain in her body (X) and is able to make some predictions. It’s fascinating. Stick with me. I’m George Noory in for Art Bell and this is “Coast to Coast AM.”
Flashback — warm nights — almost left behind suitcase of memories, time after — sometimes you picture me — I’m walking too far ahead you’re calling to me, I can’t hear what you’ve said — Then you say — go slow — I fall behind — the second hand unwinds if you’re lost you can look — and you will find Me . . .
(“Time After Time” performed by Cyndi Lauper)
(TRANSCRIBER’S NOTE: DURING THE BREAK, I HEARD VARIOUS PROMOS FOR “COAST TO COAST AM” AND THE AFTER DARK NEWSLETTER.)
On a morning from a Bogart movie (X) In a country where they turned back time (X) You go strolling through the crowd like Peter Lorre Contemplating a crime She comes out of the sun in a silk dress running Like a watercolor in the rain Don’t bother asking for explanations She’ll just tell you that she came In the year of the cat
(“In The Year Of The Cat” performed by Al Stewart)
R: To talk with (X) George Noory, from east of the Rockies call (gives number), west of the Rockies call (gives number), and the wild card line is open at (gives number). First time callers may reach George at (gives number) (X) and now filling in for Art Bell, here’s George Noory.
G: I’m just stunned by that giant gas halo from the sun that’s caught on camera. What a great looking picture, which you can see on Art’s website. Just click on artbell.com, go to “What’s (X) New,” and then under “News and Other Websites,” you’ll find it right there. A big blue burst. Great color. “What’s New” and then “News and Other Websites.” Click that on. The After Dark Newsletter always has stories that you hear on “Coast to Coast.” Need a phone number for that? (gives number) and join the growing family of “Coast to Coast” listeners who are now subscribing to The After Dark Newsletter, holding (X) little parties and little get-togethers. Maybe even seances. Who knows? You get fourteen for the price of twelve and that’s a pretty good deal too. In my recommendation, if you’ve got friends, hey, you know what, go in with a couple and defray the cost, which is not a lot anyway but it makes it easier. (X) After Dark Newsletter. (gives number) Back in a moment. (commercials — unattributed sounds are also heard during commercials)
G: Welcome back to “Coast to Coast.” I’m George Noory. Let’s . . . pick up where we left off. Let’s go to the wild card caller, Mark in Canoga Park, California with your story. Go ahead, Mark.
Q: Hi, George. (X)
G: Yeah.
Q: So Cayce was the so-called “sleeping prophet” (X) who could channel any information con(X)ceivable (X) from what he called the Soul Mind or Christ Conscious(X)ness and he would always speak in the plurality, (X) calling themselves “We.”
G: Um-huh.
Q: And sometimes even he’d speak in foreign languages. And (or “AND”) I guess you might remember “The (X) Twilight Zone” old TV series where the (X) producers of that show began each show with, “We are taking control of your (X) television set.” So there might have been —
G: Oh no. No, that wasn’t “The Twilight Zone.” I think it was —
Q: “Outer Limits.” “Outer Limits.”
G: “Outer Limits.”
Q: Right.
G: Exactly. (“YEAH” X)
Q: So maybe there’s come channeling (X) going on there too but once when (X) Cayce wanted to prove his ability (X) to a man named Paul in New York City, the response came during the trance — quote: “IT IS NOW (X) TWO MINUTES (X) TO 10 A.M. IN NEW YORK. (X) PAUL IS WALKING ALONG WILLIAMS (X) STREET IN NEW YORK. (X) WE WILL MAKE HIM DO THINGS (X X X X) SO THAT HE WILL REMEMBER. HE GOES IN A CIGAR STORE, HE SMOKES CIGARETTES BUT WE WILL HAVE HIM BUY A CIGAR SO THAT HE WILL KNOW.” And then (X) later They said, “WE WILL (X) HAVE HIM WALK UP THREE FLIGHTS WHISTLING ‘ANNIE LAURIE’ SO HE WILL REMEMBER IT.”
G: (small laugh)
Q: And (X) so on — it went like that. And there’s some strange synchronicity there too because (X X) if you notice in the quote you have the names (X) Paul and Williams. (X) And, of course, more recently there’s a songwriter named Paul Williams who wrote that song “The Rainbow Connection.”
G: Right. Now why are you (X) such an expert on Edgar Cayce?
Q: Because of my own experiences. (X “I”) There’s a fear of unseen forces (X) so when you have to deal with this in your life and (X) share it with others to help (X) expand their consciousness, (X) it sort of makes it difficult for you because people do have a fear. (“THEY”) You know, (X) there’s either love or fear and people do manifest fear when confronted —
G: See, I think Edgar Cayce was one of the greatest prophets that ever lived. (X) One of the greatest.
Q: And one of the best documented ones too. (X) I don’t know if you’ve ever (X) commented on the testament.org web(X)site but there’s (X) a lot there that also deals with the (X) Christ Consciousness. (X)
G: G: Well there’s no doubt about that. But Cayce was so accurate (X) in some of the things that he did (X) and (X) the one that, of course, we’ll never know about (X)—at least, for now—is what might be (X) buried (X) by the base of the Sphinx. That one — that one could be a big one. Let’s go (X) west of the Rockies in (line disconnected)
Q: (speaking into tape recorder) So following my call, the next morning I composed a follow-up Email for George, (X) asking him to perhaps to read the Email or my news release on the air because time is of the essence. There was a recent report I’m sure he’s familiar with. I think he (X) mentioned it, in fact. It said that one-third of the world’s (X) tree cover has been eradicated in just the last (X) twenty years alone. (X)
(TRANSCRIBER’S NOTE: HERE IS A COPY OF THE EMAIL I SENT TO GEORGE. I RECENTLY REALIZED THAT THERE IS AN ERROR CONCERNING MY MENTION OF DR. GEORGE RITCHIE. I HAD FIRST LEARNED OF HIS EXPERIENCE IN RELATION TO RAYMOND A. MOODY IN MY SEARCH FOR THE GHOST OF FLIGHT 401 BY ELIZABETH FULLER; HOWEVER THE EXPERIENCE ISN’T DESCRIBED IN MOODY’S BOOK LIFE AFTER LIFE BUT INSTEAD IN RITCHIE’S OWN BOOK RETURN FROM TOMORROW.)
Subject: Follow-Up To My Call About Edgar Cayce Last NightDate: Thu, 18 Jul 2002 15:45:47 -0700From: Mark Russell Bell <markrussellbell@earthlink.net>Organization: https://testament.org
To: george@georgenoory.com
George,
Thank you for being attentive last evening when I called during openlines. It is hard to articulate in a few minutes how the SoulMind/Christ Consciousness can be understood as the organizing Force inour world through consideration of the events manifested in documentedcases of the ‘paranormal’ or ‘supernatural.’ Edgar Cayce’s experiencescertainly offer a large body of work that could expand people’sconsciousness about life and provide a perspective for reaching somemanner of understanding for the spectrum of events categorized as“unexplained.” I believe that my own documentary-style case study onthe Internet at https://testament.org is an even more accessible way forothers to reach the understanding that I, myself, and some of the Caycefamily have achieved. Edgar’s father, Leslie Cayce, reported theessential truth, saying: “To me it was the power of the Great Creatorworking through Edgar and for him.”
Leslie Cayce’s quote and the one I mentioned on the air last night werefound in a 1999 compilation book of Cayce’s own words entitled MY LIFEAS A SEER: THE LOST MEMOIRS; however, none of the books about Cayce areas effective communicating the phenomenon manifesting through him as theactual session transcripts. For many reasons, Cayce still is notunderstood by the mainstream of society. One thing THE LOST MEMOIRSdocuments is that physicians in Chicago went beyond ignoring or coveringup Cayce; they refuted him despite the Force manifesting through himdemonstrating Divine knowledge. These physicians were so preoccupied byfear and self-interest that they couldn’t comprehend that what camethrough Cayce was a gift that could help make the world a better placefor themselves as well as all others. As a result, these physicianscontributed to Cayce and his work being misunderstood.
Misconceptions about Cayce include: (1) Cayce himself being consideredto be a seer or prophet; in truth, he was only a physical channel forSpirit. In fact, Cayce himself never would have entitled his memoirs asMY LIFE AS A SEER. (2) There have been misinterpretations of theinformation channeled through Cayce; often metaphorical significance ismistaken as something material, such as the discovery of the Hall ofRecords being viewed as an archaeological event instead of as a sourceallowing individuals to progress in their spiritual understanding oflife. (3) Cayce channeled information about Ra-Ta the priest, who wasidentified as “historical basis of E.C.’s power.” Reading #294-8mentioned Cayce’s previous life in the court of Rameses as an Egyptianhigh priest. Cayce and some of his followers interpreted that Edgar wasRa-Ta, apparently having wrongly deduced that this ‘high priest’ wasRa-Ta without conceiving how E.C.’s ability to channel a Higher Powercould result from the work of a different individual, a different Ra-Tathe priest altogether. (4) The significance of the channeledinformation that came through Cayce is of a different relevance andconsequence than Cayce’s dreams; for example, a meaning ascribed to adream of an Earth change does not have the same relevance as a channeledstatement about an Earth change. (5) Edgar Cayce, himself, dedicatedhimself to being of service to God through helping other yet he himselfwas not infallible in his own spiritual understanding. Unfortunatechoices of his included involvement in the oil business, and he failedto understand the harm in eating meat while his favorite sport wasfishing.
It should be stated that like Cayce, I too have made many unfortunatechoices in my life yet, like him, it is my understanding that pitfallscome with circumstances that most people dream of obtaining on asuperficial materialistic level. Pitfalls present themselves withinsuccess, fame, glory, and gold.
Regarding people’s fear of unseen forces, THE LOST MEMOIRS offers ananecdote on page 244 concerning a man discovering that his new wife’sability to hear communications in her head from her Uncle John. Hisnegative reaction resulted in the physical suppression of her ability tohear. The resulting session with Cayce conveyed to the man that hiswife had an ability that some people don’t want to understand based ontheir fear of unseen forces.
Another important incident in Cayce’s life (P. 167) occurred while hewas channeling a group reading. He said that while giving the reading,“I saw Jesus giving the message and his face changed in appearance as hegave it to each one. This was a vision of the source from which theinformation as received came to each individual.”
George, I know I must share the understanding with you that time is ofthe essence. In our world, thousands starve each day as the wealthytake for themselves more than they could conceivably ever need, whilethe environment is being blindly destroyed. The time is now when peoplemust reach a greater spiritual understanding. I believe it is essentialthat what happened to me becomes known to “Coast to Coast A.M.”listeners. Perhaps you could even read this letter or the news releasebelow so that others may learn about the availability ofhttps://testament.org — this website is not a commercial endeavor withno advertising and there is no charge for access by all to the entiretyof materials contained therein. I understand that you do not havecreative control of the “Coast To Coast A.M.” program as it is acorporate endeavor, yet there can be no way for others to expand theirconsciousness without the assistance of an individual such as yourself;one who knows the importance of using their own spiritual understandingto help others, including their own business associates, if need be.With all the proofs of God’s Love that we each experience every day, howfortunate we are when there are opportunities for us to prove our Lovefor God in return.
Regards,MRB

CASE STUDY DOCUMENTED ON THE INTERNET AT https://testament.org
LOS ANGELES — Q&A interview transcripts and journals document eventsusually equated with the ‘supernatural’ or ‘miraculous’ athttps://testament.org
The website evolved after Mark Russell Bell researched ‘talkingpoltergeists’ throughout history, including the Bell Witch, Mary Jobson, and Isle of Man cases. He then traveled to rural Oklahoma to interviewa contemporary family experiencing the talking poltergeist phenomena.Initial interviews at the website feature Centrahoma’s Bell/Mc Wethyfamily relating their interaction with a variety of spirit voices, including aliens.
Among the events experienced by Mark Russell Bell in Oklahoma werematerialization of coins and other objects, spirit laughter andgroaning, and insect phenomena. Upon returning to his native LosAngeles, Bell was shocked as the phenomena continued and escalated. Hestopped working as a publicity writer for Paramount Pictures—the filmstudio with the familiar mountain logo—as he began transcribing thetapes. He discovered that interview microcassettes contained ElectronicVoice Phenomena (EVP)/spirit messages and unattributed sounds. Bellsoon began to realize the greater implications of what on the surfacewere a succession of events long associated with the ‘paranormal.’He comments, “I found parallels between the account of the Angelic Forcecalled ‘Michael’ by the family in Oklahoma with what has been recordedabout the Angel Who spoke to Moses in the Mount, was mentioned as an‘angelical spirit’ in the Nostradamus 1555 letter to his son, used EdgarCayce as a channel, was referred to as ‘The Mahatmas’ by THE SECRETDOCTRINE author Madame Blavatsky, communicated via the Ouija Board toinspire the MESSAGES FROM MICHAEL books, and was glimpsed in a neardeath experience by Dr. George Ritchie as described by Dr. Raymond A.Moody in LIFE-AFTER-LIFE.”
Photographs at the testament.org website document spirits andapparitions, bushes that went up in flames behind Bell’s condo, abigfoot, and entities at a window that some believe to be aliens. At Paramount, Mark Russell Bell contributed to publicity campaigns formore than 100 films, including “Ghost,” several “Star Trek” films,“Scrooged,” “Dead Again,” a reissue of “The Ten Commandments,” “TheButcher’s Wife,” “Forrest Gump,” “Braveheart,” “We’re No Angels,” and“Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.”
Bell says that after his experiences he perceives watching movies ortelevision shows as distractions to the real and important work Spiritcalls us to do: helping other members of our human & animal family andstopping the destruction of the Earth’s eco-system. “Angelic Guidancemanifesting in the life of an entertainment industry publicity writer isa metaphor reminding us that we each are part of a divine process as wecreate from our subconscious and shared Superconscious mind,” statesBell, whose lineage chart reveals ties with film directors AlfredHitchcock (“Rebecca,” “Family Plot”) and Ken Russell (“Tommy,” “AlteredStates”).
The bell synchronicity in his life culminated when he became aware ofhaving lived a previous life in Egypt as Bel-Marduk also known as Ra-Ta(Sun-Earth) the priest. Visiting an antique store several blocks fromhis home in Echo Park, Bell found an Egyptian pendant with a profile ofhis exact likeness. In 1932 Edgar Cayce channeled the message thatRa-Ta would return to the world in 1998. That year, people discoveredBell via the Internet.
As Bell observes in “Publishing Information” at https://testament.org —“Reading TESTAMENT illuminates the lost knowledge of the relationshipsof man and the carnal world with those changes that fade or fall away intheir various effect, making plain the interpretation of death. Thereader’s consciousness is expanded; thus the ‘uncovering’ of the Hall ofRecords. . . . Spirit has made my life an open book so that others canexpand their consciousness.”
The connection between Bel-Marduk and Ra is a subject of the work ofZecharia Sitchin. In Sitchin’s recent book THE COSMIC CODE, ancienttexts are cited concerning Marduk’s emergence from the Great Pyramid.Sitchin identifies these texts on pages 59/84 as “precursors of the NewTestament tale of the death, entombment, and resurrection of Jesus.Sentenced to exile, Ra/Marduk became Amen-Ra, the unseen god. . . .scholars seriously debated at the turn of this century whether his storywas a prototype of the story of Christ.”
The book TESTAMENT’s publication date is January 9, 1997 and the firstportion of the follow-up book NEW TESTAMENT found exclusively on theInternet was published on July 20, 1997. The ISBN is 0-9654916-0-9 andthe Library of Congress Catalog Number is 96-71184. Bell has guested onsuch radio shows as “The Edge of Reality,” “Night Search” and “Mysteriesof the Mind.”

(TRANSCRIBER’S NOTE: HERE IS A TRANSCRIPT OF THE REMAINDER OF THE OPEN LINES HOUR OF “COAST TO COAST AM” WEDNESDAY, JULY 17, 2002.)
G: . . . Henderson, Nevada. Peter, you are on “Coast to Coast.” Hi there, Peter.
P: Good evening.
G: Yes, sir.
P: Well I don’t know how many people realize some of this but I came across a newspaper. It’s the Saturday, July 6th, (X) 2002 edition of The National Post, which is a (X) Canadian newspaper and its headline is “Canada Sets Job Creation Record.” And essentially the (“IF”) — the 9-11 (X) tragedy — (X) Canada has continued to surprise analysts with top performance over the United States with doubling the amount of (X) jobs that we (X) create. (X) They have 66,000 jobs (X) created in June (X) alone, which is more than (X) double the U.S. total.
G: Does it say why?
P: Well it’s be(X)cause people have been, (X) it appears, running to (X) Canada to escape the (X) terrorism (X) fear in the United States. 303,000 jobs were (X) created — (X) created the first half of the year —
G: Well hold on now. (X) That doesn’t mean people are fleeing the United States. It means that (X) Canada is opening up more jobs. I mean have they said the population of that country has also increased?
P: It states that — (“YOU THINK” X) slow it down. It states that the (X) job (X) market will not stop — (“ID” X) said an article that goes along with it that (X) talks about the fact that (X “THAT”) the United States has not re(X)covered from the shock (X) but we have.
G: Well I believe that. I believe that.
P: But we have. (X) Well I don’t know — you know, it doesn’t specify that there’s an actual link be(X)tween (X) people that are going across the border (“AA”) because (X) there’s a lot of opportunity jobs-wise up in Canada. (“BUT” “THE[Y]”) They’re having to raise interest (X) rates up in Canada because the market is so, so (X) strong. And it does say specifically that the — aa (or “AA”) it says Canada may be only two percent of the global (X) economy but since 9-11 it would not be a (“STRETCH”)/ stretch to say that it is the strongest two percent in the world.
G: Well I’ll tell you one (X) thing that (X) Canada better start doing too is monitoring its borders. It’s a great country. It’s been very supportive of the United States (X) for all these years and we’ve got many great “Coast to Coast” listeners up there in Canada but they’ve got to (X) tighten up those borders. And I hope they’re working on it. I think they are but only (X) time will (X) tell. East of the Rockies in Columbia, South Carolina, David, it’s your turn on “Coast to Coast.” Hi, David.
D: Hi, George.
G: Yeah.
D: I’d just like to say that (X) I’m really glad that you’re going to have Charlotte on. I’m an Earth sensitive myself and I spoke with Charlotte earlier via Email and I hope she does get her website up where people can come on and express their views and sensitivity themselves.
G: Excellent.
D: Just like to (X) congratulate “Coast to Coast” for having her on and (X) look forward to listening to her show. (X)
G: Me too. Well help me out a little bit (X) here, if you would.
D: Alright. (X)
G: What happens with you? Give me (X) some of your symptoms.
D: Well what I do is I hear ear tones. There’s a (X) certain frequency (X) pitch (X) that’s similar (X) to a radio (X) tone but it’s very high frequency. (X X) They can have a muffled (X) type of (X) tone in it. Some people (X) claim it’s an ear block (X) similar (X) to a change in altitude. (X) And the (X) tones that I’ve had over the last three years I’ve (X) learned the best I can to — (X) the regional location, (X) the geographic area. The (X) length of the (X) tone is usually (X) for me the magnitude of earthquake. (X X) And I’ve been . . .
G: Well when you, David, hear a tone (X) —
D: Yeah.
G: Does — and you say it’s the magnitude of an earth(X)quake, does that (X) tell you then (X) that there’s going to be an impending earth(X)quake?
D: Yes. It’s usually (X) — a lot of (X) times, it will be with(X)in seventy-(X)two hours but it (X) can run to about two weeks to seven(X)teen days. (X) In a time frame of that. I (X) post some(X)times with Jim Berkland’s (X) site syzygy. (X) He’s got a great number of really great sensitives there also. (X) And (X) I’ve learned a lot (X) from a lot of people on (X) Jim’s site. And it’s just something that seems to be (X) coming to the forefront. A lot of people are be(X)coming sensitive to Earth changes. (X) Art, himself, seems to be quite sensitive with the book he’s wrote about the weather changes and —
G: Right.
D: Anybody (X) can look out here and see that these things are coming to (X) pass before our eyes. (X)
G: Well how did this happen in you? (X) I mean this is not something you can train for, is it?
D: No, I — (X) I was involved in a very severe accident (X) where I was in a (X) coma for quite some (X) time. (“WELL”) About a month. (X) And when I came all out of it and all, I actually saw auras around people (X) and (X) things for about (X) seven months. (X) Then that dissipated and I started getting these frequency tones. (X) And I didn’t think anything about them and then I started, (X) you know, getting news reports that there were earthquakes. (X) And I just over the years have started to correlate the (X) tone with a geographical area (X) and (X) have tried intuitively to (X) perceive where geographically in a state or region or (X) country that the earthquake will occur (X) and the magnitude (“OF” X) of what it will be. (X) And it’s just something that you really work at to be — become just intuitive with yourself and your inner feelings and body (X) to (X) perceive these things. (X) It seems to me a lot of people are becoming really in tune with themselves as well as nature.
G: Well I look forward and thanks for your call, David. That’s good input because it is a (X) topic that fascinates me and she’s perfect for “Coast to Coast.” First time caller, let’s go to you Mike in Connecticut. You’re on “Coast to Coast.” Hi, Michael.
M: Hey, how are you doing?
G: Okay. Wonderful. Thanks. (X)
M: Well I have to (X) tell you that this, the whole unexplained mysteries thing, it fascinates me beyond belief. I have an insatiable appetite for this. I can’t seem to read enough about it and (X X) I got put on nights and started listening to your show. And I just have to tell you that this is (X) probably one of the best (X) tools next to the Internet (X) that you — we could ever have for finding out more personalized views about what happens, what’s (X) going on and — because a lot of the publications and (X) things that — Loch Ness Monster, Bigfoot, all these other things are (X) kind of outdated so this is a great way for everybody to find out new and exciting information on what’s (X) cutting edge and (X) what’s happening now.
G: How long have you been listening to Art Bell on “Coast to Coast,” Mike, a long time? (X)
M: Well no, not really. As a matter of fact, I hate to say this but I wasn’t even aware that you guys were even on the air until I — (“NO”) once again, night shift, you know, I’m on a — you know, I’m listening to the radio and all of a sudden I’m flicking through it and I get you guys. And I just (X) started (X) listening to all the fascinating topics and I just — you know, you (X) kind of (X) settle into your own. And I felt, “Wow, this is (X) — this is just a great — (X) a great group of people (X) discussing all the topics that I find in(X)credibly fascinating. And I thought like at(X)tracts like and so I started listening to it.
G: Well we try to talk about things that you just won’t hear in the mainstream media. But more importantly, (X) we talk (X) about (X) issues that affect all of us in very (X) strange ways, sometimes very realistic ways. And we need to bring these experts on to help us kind of steer all of us through this — through this (X) gridiron that is out there.
M: Well and I seem to think that there’s so much (X) going on right now. And I don’t like to think — I’m not a conspiracy (X) theory kind of person but I do think that for some reason there’s an (X) incredible amount of (X) things that are going on out there that, for some reason, groups or certain groups of people perhaps don’t think we’re ready to, you know, to be able to come to terms with. And I think they’re using outdated information (X “NO” “TO MA[KE]” “NO”) for the basis (X) of (X) coming to that (X) conclusion. And I think that (X) what is it — (X) the big guy, Orson Welles, when he did “The War of the Worlds” and people were out there shooting cows and water towers and whatever. I think that they — that —
G: Jumping off — jumping out of buildings.
M: You know, and jumping out of buildings. I think that they have — that they think that that’s where our men(X)tality is right now. (“A[ND] I”) I think they’ve forgotten that we now have grown up with, you know, “Star Trek” and phasers and cellphones and work (X) for blah blah blah. You know, I mean it’s — (X “LIKE”) UFO abductions in the (X) past, people would (X) call it guiding lights, space — you know, or (X) stars. When we look at it now, if we were back in that (X) same time, we’d go, “This is a (X) classic alien abduction.” (X) I mean (“NO” X) we’re smart, we’re savvy. We understand these things now and — (X) and I think they should give us a bit more credit. But the reason why I called is (X) I was a former — I’m a former Marine and I was stationed in England. And you guys talk (X) about (X) shadow people, (X) you know. And I —
G: Sure. (X)
M: I was in a state-of-the-art nuclear (X) weapons facility that could — (“THA THA”) sense the changes in (X) temperature, (X) pressure and not just — it was in the — (X) it was in the area where the weapons (X) were actually kept but also —
G: Yes.
M: — that could sense (X) pressure on the ground. (X) And when I had got there, there were a lot of (X) people that had said, “Well this site was built on (“AA” “A”) an a(ncient) — I guess an (“AA”) a place where they used to (X) torture witches and kill suspected witches. And we thought that was a bunch of mumbo-jumbo.
G: Um-huh.
M: And there were several (X) times when people would — I would see things out of the corner of my eye and I — then I would think, “Well perhaps it’s late and I — (“MMMY EYE”) you know, maybe my eyes were just (“NO”) giving me (X) — giving me trouble.
G: Tired. Sure. Or your brain was playing tricks with you.
M: Exactly. (X) But there was (X) — there were several specific times and there was (X) especially one night we were out (X) in this facility and the igloos were all (X) stacked up. There were (“AA”) — there were like (X) twenty in a row. And then there was this — there was like a (X) cement corridor then another twenty. And it was all outside. And we saw somebody. It was a (X) black object and I hate to say that it had a hat on but it actually did. The person had a hat and we thought, (X) “Well how could this person have got in here?” So we commanded him to halt. He wouldn’t halt and he took off running. (X) So we called it an actual and they scrambled everybody, got everybody up. Now the (X) igloos are all (X) controlled. (“THERE”) Everything is ran through (“WOOD” or “WOULD” X) — through an ACC, Alarm (X) Control Center.
G: Sure.
M: And it can monitor. That person somehow(X) disappeared into the igloo and literally kept running (X) through the different igloos and were setting off multiple (X) alarms. Not just the pressure, (“NO”) the air temperature and the body temperature (“UHHH”) or whatever, uh, (X) the sensors in the units themselves but as it would (X) pass through the wall into (X) the next one, it would s(et) — it would also (X) set that off and the pressure plates.
G: That’s amazing.
M: We had to open every (X) single one of those igloos (X) up to find this thing or whatever it was (X) and it wasn’t there. And we saw it. I saw it enter those igloos. And it was just — it was amazing and it was actually captured as — (X) from the exact moment that it entered. (X) It was picked up by the Alarm Control Center and that’s the igloo we started first. (X) And then it just stopped and it disap(X)peared. And we went to the last igloo after we opened them (X) up and there was nothing there. (X) And there were also — there was one (X) time that my buddy and I were standing out on post. We had a problem with rats there. And I’m standing there talking to my buddy and it was just about not quite (“WW”) dusk — (X) you know, when the sun was starting to (X) set.
G: Right.
M: And (X) all of a sudden a spot — (X) big (X) black spot ran underneath (X) my legs and up my buddy.
G: Like a —
M: And I didn’t know what it was and I drew my pistol. We had M16s and we had pistols and I drew my pistol thinking it was like a (X) rat that my buddy was going to about to be attacked by a rat.
G: Yeah.
M: And my buddy looked at me like, “What the heck are you doing?” Because I’m drawing my weapon on him.
G: Yeah. Don’t — (X) don’t draw the weapon on him. That’s a great story. Mike, thanks for that. (“BUT”) Shadow people and we do get a lot of reports that they have hats on. Don’t they? I don’t know why but they do. Wild card caller in Los Angeles, California, it’s your turn, Clint.
L: Hi.
G: Welcome to the show. Hi, there.
L: Yeah, (X) this is (X) Clint in Los Angeles.
G: Um-huh.
L: L: I’m listening (X) to your show and I though to myself, “Well I remember one night when Art (X X) was talking about how (X) he would get all of his listeners (X X) to believe a certain (X) thing and it would happen.”
G: Right.
L: Well (X) I thought (X) to myself, “Well if Art has a very bad back, we can get all the listeners to believe that it would (X) go away, that he’d (X) get rid of that bad back.”
G: Well let me tell you, though, (X) Clint. (“YOU KNOW”) One, thank you so much for the concern — and also (X) the many, many Emails that I’m (X) getting — for the concern for Art (X) but that’s (X) something that he would prefer (X) that we not do so I will (X) definitely honor that. (X) And he’ll try to take care of this situation his own way but — but again, thank you to you for just even caring enough to (X) want to do something like that. East of the Rockies in Chicago, Illinois, Joe, you’re on “Coast to Coast.” Hi, Joe.
J: Hey. Hi, George, how are you? (X)
G: I’m doing well. You listening on LS?
J: Yes. The big LS. I got my start in radio way back in ’84 at WLS.
G: Did you really?
J: Oh yeah. I’ve been on the air for years but I got to call to (X) tell you a (X) couple things. The one caller that was (X) talking about the Mayan (X) calendar and that there was a mis(X)take in the, you know, the (X) calendar that we use (X) as far as, you know, the year (X) 2000 is actually like six years earlier or something . . .
G: Right.
J: . . . years earlier. (X) You know, that doesn’t (X) affect the Mayan (X) calendar —
G: No.
J: — but it does affect our timetable, doesn’t it?
G: Exactly. (X) Exactly.
J: And you know what else is interesting? There’s an un(X)precedented six billion souls on this planet (X) and we’re all (X) here (X) to witness something. (X) Now I’ve been a — I’m a voice natural. I’ve been doing this my whole life. Like I said, I’ve done radio all over the country. Actually, all over the world. And the gentleman who has his (X) feelings with the frequencies in his ears —
G: Um-huh.
J: — and your (X) guest you’re going to have (X) tonight who feels the vibrations of the Earth? You know, the perceptibility — (X) everybody has them. (X) You know, some people are better artists. Some people are better (“YOU KNOW”) at — at certain things. (X) And there are some people who are more aware of the (X) perceptibilities around them. But it’s something we all have to different degrees. You even get them, George, (X) you know? Everybody does.
G: I get a lot but what you just said, Joe, is absolutely correct. (X) A lot of people have them but they don’t perceive them. They don’t know how to interpret them.
J: That’s right. And some(X)times — or when you get like a hunch. You know, everybody gets a (X) hunch. A hunch is another form for . . . (“AA”) perceptibility. You say I was on — jeeze, I (X) knew I should have done that or I knew I should have said that or I knew I should have — you know? We (X) deny ourselves that, you know? They say they (X) can’t (X) teach religion in school because of (X) separation o(f) (“OF”) church and state. Well that’s fine. What about spirituality? That’s out(X)side of religion. (X)
G: Well no question about it. I mean you can be very spiritual and not religious. Quite — quite honestly, I am (X) extremely (bumper music starts) into (X) the universe, in energy and (X) all (X) those kinds of things. Well next hour, which is not too far away now, my guest is Charlotte King. She’s a biological sensitive. She feels things. How does she do that? Why does she do that? (X) Well stick around. (X) I’m George Noory and this is “Coast to Coast AM.”
Q: Anyway, the following night, (X) I listened to George’s calls during open lines to see what the shared Superconscious mind was attempting to communicate. Well here, I’ll play it for you. Just the first two calls of that first opening half hour. (X)
G: . . . And now let’s go to the phones. First-time caller in Nashville, (X) Tennessee, Todd, you’re on “Coast to Coast.” Hello, Todd. Welcome to the show.
T: Hey. This is about yesterday. I missed some of it (X) about the remote viewing.
G: You missed remote viewing? I had that — that was on the day before. (X)
T: Well yeah, okay.
G: Do you ever (X) practice remote viewing, Todd?
T: Well that’s what I’m calling about. I’m not really sure. Could you (X) quickly (X) explain (X) how it works? (X) I’m not quite —
G: Well remote viewing is a technique. And let’s see if this has ever happened (X) to you. It’s a technique (X) where, under great concentration, you are able to see (X) objects, visit (X) places without going anywhere. (X) Okay? (X) You’re just where you are. There are techniques of relaxation and massive concentration. And, for example, you could sit in your home right (X) now and maybe go to the moon. Or you could sit in your home and travel to a different state. Or maybe you could visualize what I might be holding in my hand. You want to try something (X) real quickly?
T: Sure. (X)
G: Okay. I want you to concentrate real hard (X) for a moment and just clean your head, clean your thoughts if you’re going to practice remote viewing because there are great experts out there in remote viewing. But what do you think I’ve got in my hand? (X) Just visualize it. (pause) No? You don’t have it, (X) do you?
T: No. (small laugh)
G: What do you — what was that? What do you think?
T: I don’t know. A pen?
G: No — it is a pen. Absolutely right. (X) Got it right on the head. Thanks, Todd. So there you are. Just keep practicing. (X) And all you got to do, by the way, (X) if you want any more information on remote viewing from the guest that we had a (X) couple nights ago, you just go to Art’s website which has everything—(X) it’s got to be one of the best websites I’ve ever seen ever—(X) and click on “Past Guests” and just scroll up (X “TO”) a couple days ago and you will find that you can get as much information on remote (X) viewing. Let’s go to the wild card caller in Rhode Island. Chris, welcome to “Coast to Coast.” You’re on the air. Hi, Chris.
C: Hi. Thank you for having me on.
G: Sure. My pleasure.
C: My question is when I was a child I had like an episode where I was watching TV and I kind of jumped way back. (X) My mother questioned me what had happened and I explained it felt like the TV exploded in my face kind of. (X) At that point, a manhole cover across the (X) street from the house exploded and (X) threw the manhole cover in the air. (X) Throughout life, I’ve just been experiencing like different things. (X) I’m just wondering if the (X) people who might be receptive to certain things in the atmosphere, (“NO”) be it biological in their body or whatever. If they don’t want to have that, (X) are there certain that they can do not to be receptive to, you know, (X) certain gifts? (X)
G: No. I think, Chris, once you have it, it’s (X) pretty difficult to get rid of. The guest that I had on last night, Charlotte King, for example, hears low hums and she also gets severe (X) pains in her body. Whenever there’s a little change in the Earth’s magnetic field, she can (X) — she can (X) predict earthquakes now based on pain. (X) I asked her last night if she would (X) like to get rid of the pain and she said yes, she would, but she can’t. Once you have it I don’t think (X) you can get rid of it. (X) I don’t think you can get rid of it. You know, sometimes it’s a gift. (X) Sometimes. But I’m not sure I’d want to go through life with all kinds of pain and aches just so you could know when to (X) predict earthquakes. By the way, she says the Japan region is going to get one and a pretty good sized one within the next 24 hours. So all of you monitor that for me in case I miss that and Email me if Japan gets hit with an earthquake. Would you? I’ll be back with more of your phone calls. I’m George Noory, in for Art Bell (X) and this is “Coast to Coast AM.”
. . . oh higher and higher baby It’s a living thing It’s a terrible thing to lose It’s a giving thing What a terrible thing to lose . . .
(bumper music is “Living Thing” performed by ELO)
Q: So the first EVP I noticed during the night came during a discussion of the doctor who (X) said that he was (X) treating the (X) real Elvis.
G: (clip) . . . and they gave me a statement. And the statement was, (“NO”) “We believe Elvis is dead. He’s in his casket and so be it.” (“NOW” X) It’s bizarre. (X) So what do you think? Now that I’ve (X) told you that . . .
Q: So either that’s EVP or the producers of the show are hoaxing EVP/spirit messages but why they would do such a thing is beyond my comprehension. (X) Because it is a radio broadcast, there is a tape delay — a long tape delay. So they could conceivably hoax EVP. I haven’t heard any (X) obvious hoaxing that I can recall where the EVP (X) would be overlapping what somebody was saying as could conceivably happen with a phony EVP. These are awfully clear in any case. With all this going on, it’s just bizarre that it is going on and (X) the hosts of the show have never commented on it. So then George interviewed a parapsychologist named Loyd Auerbach and here is the first of the EVP I heard during (two half hour segments of) his interview.
Y: (new clip) . . . and they’re able to focus on it to understand what’s going on. There’s a large group of people who are just really good at reading people, at (“NO”) looking (X) at — looking them over and making really good guesses or making statements about people that. . .
Y: (new clip) . . . There are people out there who, in fact, (X) will go to the extreme—and this is an extreme—and use people’s fear and wonder about psychic abilities and push them into a place where they’re being cursed or, you know, (“OR A”) a place where they have to (X) pony up the money. (X)
G: Could that be some of the 1-900 (X) numbers and things like that?
Y: Well, you know, the — it’s kind of interesting. The 800 numbers and the 900 numbers like the Miss Cleos of the world and those folks. (“YEAH”) And there is an awful lot of people who just want somebody to talk to . . .
Y: (new clip) . . . it’s been a lot of fun. I’ve actually learned even more than I knew be(X)fore. I still stay in touch with the magical side (“OF”) — the community as well. But . . .
Y: (new clip) . . . at mentalism shows, (X) people will often (X) talk — start talking about their psychic experiences (X) because of what they’ve actually just seen. Even though what they’ve seen is enter(X)tainment. They’ll do that after they go see a movie like “The Others,” Nicole Kidman’s movie.
G: Um-huh.
Y: So what these things can — these (X) shows — these entertainments can do is really (X) provide people a platform from which they can launch into discussion of the subject matter. (X) And the fact is that (X) Hollywood has (“YOU KNOW”) — has duplicated everything so I mean it’s not just paranormal stuff . . .
Y: (new clip) . . . The vast ma(X)jority of our cases and this is where we kind of get into those (X) two cases that I (X) got or the three cases out of the ten that are current, that have witnesses to them.
G: Yes.
Y: And that may — and (X) sound like they might actually have phenomena. You know, we have to kind of go with the sound and (“WE”) frankly get calls from people who are (X) mistaken or crazy sometimes. Go out on these cases and we have . . .
Y: (new clip) . . . is whether or not that’s a person or a recording. How we distinguish what we call an apparition or ghost and a (X) haunting which is often called residual haunting or place (X) memory. There are a number of different (X) terms for it. The idea is that the environment somehow — (“TAKES”) snippets of time; in other words, records events that happen . . .
Y: (new clip) . . . Yeah, and it’s not necessarily (X) entities. We’re not talking about (X) conscious beings (X) who talk to (X) you, (“UM-HUH” X) interact. We’re talking about pieces of history that people are actually (X) seeing . . .
Y: (new clip) . . . want to go in and take ghost pictures and leave. And the fact is that people are freaked out. That’s the reason they’re calling for help to begin with. They want an explanation. They want to understand and (“YOU KNOW”) just telling them “Look at the — what’s on the picture” just really doesn’t help.
G: Outside —
Y: You also have to help (X) them resolve that. (X) . . .
Y: (new clip) . . . the definition — the very definition of a ghost is an experient (sic) a living person has (X) with someone who’s dead.
G: Right. (“YEAH”)
Y: That’s —
G: Right.
Y: There’s light all around us but if you don’t see the light — okay, it’s there but, no — (X) get to see it. (X “SO”) What we’re talking about is that the human experience — the living human experience defines a ghost . . .
G: (new clip) . . . You and you’ve admitted do believe in the afterlife.
Y: I believe that there are folks who stick around here. I don’t know what the — what that means or (“NO”) heaven, hell or anything else but yeah I do.
G: Or — so in cases that you’ve witnessed that are (X) pretty compelling —
Y: Um-huh? (X)
G: — it doesn’t shock you then?
Y: No, nothing — I mean I actually approach this with a sense of wonder. Whenever these things happen; (“WHENEVER”) anything’s going on in (X) the cases I think it’s pretty cool . . .
Y: . . . Well, you know, (X) I have to tell you (“I — I”) when I wrote my book on reincarnation, channeling and possession, I reviewed the litera(X)ture and (X) I have an anthro(X)pology background undergraduate. (“AND YOU KNOW”) Possession is a very interest(X)ing thing (X) because the belief in spirit possession or demonic possession or divine possession (X)— in many cultures it’s the gods that possess you — (X) varies from culture to culture, religion to religion. An(d) it (or “AN IT”) — there doesn’t seem to be a standard. There actually is a (X) pretty much a (X) standard experience of seeing a ghost. And the haunting experiences. And the poltergeist experiences. (“BUT”) The possession things are way off. There’s a wide range of them and it all seems to de(X)pend on the culture, the religion and the (X) personal beliefs of the people. Not only the person who thinks they’re possessed but also the people who (“LOVE”) observe the possession. I have not, nor have my colleagues that I’ve spoken to ever seen a case of possession. (X) I have seen cases where people are psychologically disturbed and there clearly seems to be a good piece of psychology in these possession cases. (“I”) That seems to be the explanation for a majority of them. Another researcher actually has (X) — a man by the name of Ralph Allison has put forth a theory that we are possessed from time to time but we’re possessed by demons of our own making. These are sides of our personality that come out (X X) and take us over for a time and it’s like (X) being possessed by an outside spirit but the real actual root (X) of that spirit, if you want to call it that, is from within ourselves . . .
Y: (new clip) . . . but you know on the other side of that is that very (X) positive hauntings also happen. It’s just that people don’t report them that often.
G: So you think in some cases (“AA”) what may (X) appear to be evil . . .
Y: (new clip) . . . I experienced it as sinus pressure and as a ha(rd) — as being hard to breathe.
G: Okay.
Y: Everybody experiences that stuff differently an(d) (“NO”) when people talk about getting a cold chill, it (“O[FTEN]”) often is not measurably colder. It’s (X) just that’s the way your body is reacting to what you’re perceiving. So — and that’s something that happens — you know, when you get afraid, you get cold also.
G: Um-huh. Um-huh. (X)
Y: But we did kind of pick out the spots that people — found the spots that people have in the past reported feeling something. (“GG”) Got the same spots. I got some unusual magnetic readings in a few of those spots. (X) Annette actually even picked out the hospital cell that the Bird Man of Alca(X)traz was in. (X)
G: (small laugh)
Y: So that was kind of interes(X)ting too but no ghost, per se. But, again, if you were dead, you wouldn’t hang around a prison. Where you’d go is where people are.
G: Well you would think so.
Y: Yeah. I would hope so. . . .
Q: So I don’t think that those EVPs were hoaxes. I guess I’ll send Loyd some Email about EVP messages and unattributed sounds. He seems very much a skeptic though and — well he doesn’t have reference to some very good sources. I mean if he’d read my books, he wouldn’t go on about “poltergeist agents” anymore.
( . . . )
Q: So I listened on Friday night to the open lines portion of the (X) show. And I thought that this was sort of interesting. This call in terms of the sub(X)conscious mind or Super(X)conscious mind and where George is (X) coming from.
G: West of the Rockies, let’s go to you, Maureen, in San Diego, California.
U: Hi, George, hhh.
G: You have a (X) gorgeous city. (“AA”) Wonderful town.
U: Really. Thank you. (small laugh) It’s nice to talk to you again. I think I talked to you about your — when I talked to you, I talked to you (X) about Rosemary Ellen Guiley. (X)
G: Oh the dream lady. Yeah.
U: Yeah. Hh-hhh. Oh (X) Because I was — I was listening — I want to say thank you for having her on ’cause you were — when you had her on, on your show, you were talking about like witches and — (“THINGS” or “THINK”)
G: Yeah, she’s good. She’s — (X) she’s an excellent, excellent interpreter of dreams but more importantly what she does is she kind of explains why people dream the way they do and she does it in such a way that everybody can understand it.
U: Yeah. Hh.
G: I like it. (X) So do you still (X) dream, Maureen?
U: Yeah. I dream every night and — but the reason that I called is that (X) I was in at the veterinarian hospital yesterday with my mom. And my parents, (“BELL”) Bootsie and —
G: What happened (“ME”) to Bootsie?
U: We had to put her to sleep yesterday.
G: Ahh, that’s sad.
U: Yeah, I know. And I was there with her when the doctor put her to sleep.
G: Do you believe in spirits for animals?
U: Yeah. Do you think Bootsie will (X) come back to me . . . (X)
G: Well (“EAD” X) let me say this. I believe that every living being or thing is (X) tied in to the spirit world; (X) in this world of energy in this universe. So it’s (X) highly (X) possible that the — (X) that soul from your animal, from Bootsie may very well come back as another animal. (“NO”) Like so many people who have past lives. I think we’re all connected. You know, the people I associate with in my life I think (X) probably in past lives I may have known them somehow. And with your animal it’s very possible. (“BUT”) But I’ll tell you what might be possible. It may — and I keep saying it. It’s really Bootsie.
U: Yeah.
G: Bootsie may come back as another person in your life. You never know.
U: Yeah, I — because I mean when it’s my time to go, I can be reunited with her, right? (X)
G: Yeah (or “YEAH”), I think you would be. Somehow. In some way.
U: Yeah. Because, you know, I miss her so much and I can’t even sleep and —
G: What kind of dog was it?
U: Well Bootsie was half Corgi. You know, like Queen Elizabeth had in England?
G: Yeah.
U: And she’s either half collie or half retriever. She had a lot of long — (X) she had long blonde hair and, you know, she has the traditional Corgi . . . short little legs and the long — (X) she has long — a really long tail.
G: Let me ask you this last question. You’ll never be able to replace her but are you going to get a new — another dog?
U: Well I don’t know if my parents because they’re so busy and — (X) and then my daughter who’s still — I mean my sister who still lives at home with her husband and she has a little baby and I don’t know but hopefully we’ll . . . (“I”) if I do get married and have kids — I mean (or “I MEAN”) if I do get married, you know, I’ll have — I will have dogs definitely.
G: Oh yeah. And who knows? Maybe it will be the soul of Bootsie. Thanks for the call, Maureen. East of the Rockies, let’s go to you, Ernest, in Texas . . .
Q: Well listening to that is very disturbing. All the people having children. They just think that’s all there is in life is having children. And they listen to this show so they must know what the state of the environment is. I don’t understand why people don’t consider the situation of the world: the environment and the social morality before deciding whether or not to bring children into this world.
( . . . )
Q: This sounded like an EVP “YEAH” to me. The tonality is different from George’s voice.
G: (clip) . . . Yeah (or “YEAH”), I think you would be . . .
Q: On the following call, there was another blatant EVP.
G: (clip) . . . I have a feeling I know what it was.
N: (laughs) (“YOU KNOW”) Well now that I look — knowing what I know now, I think of . . .
Q: What’s ironic about that following call is in the background I heard a dog bark. We(ll he)re (or “WE[‘LL HE]RE”) — well here I’ll play it.
N: . . . like a flashlight beam. (dog barks) . . .
G: You didn’t hear a helicopter sound? . . .
Q: I mean isn’t that funny? What if he didn’t have a dog? What if that was Bootsie? But he probably had a dog.
( . . . )
Q: Also during that call, there was also some obvious unattributed sounds that I heard.
N: (clip) . . . once when I was a kid about seven, eight years old, when I was sleeping in my bed a beam of light came in above my bed onto the (or “ONTO THE”) — the wall above my bed. (X)
G: Well did it come (X) like through the house?
N: Through a window.
G: Okay.
N: And it was a narrow beam and it scared me. (“AN I”) Course, I covered up and went back to sleep. But the next morning there was an indention in the wall like somebody hit it with a hammer. (X) A pretty big head on the hammer. There was an indention (dog barks in background) in the wall right where that light beam hit.
G: From the outside in or the inside out? (X)
N: From the outside in like (X) that —
G: Jeeze.
N: Like that beam of light had poked a hole in the wall.
G: Did (X) anybody in your neighborhood see anything that night?
N: No. Well I didn’t ask. I was young. I didn’t tell it to anybody, really.
G: What do you think it is now? Now when you look (X) back? (X)
N: Man, I have no idea.
G: I have a feeling I know what it was.
N: (laughs) (“YOU KNOW”) Well now that I look — knowing what I know now, I think of lasers (X) because it was a narrow beam. It wasn’t like a flashlight beam.
(dog barks)
G: You didn’t hear a helicopter sound, though?
N: No, I was living in town then. Down in Houston. (X)
G: Yeah. (X) I — I have a feeling (X) it could have been something up there. Thanks for the call, Ernest. You know, people hear and see these things all the time. First time caller in York, Pennsylvania, Josh, you’re on “Coast to Coast.” Hi, Josh.
H: Hey, how you doing tonight, George?
G: I’m doing wonderful. Thanks.
H: I just want to say I love listening to when (X) you fill in with Art. (X) It’s great that you step up and take the reins and it’s a shame about his back but never-the-less when you host, the integrity of the show remains top notch.
G: Thank you. (X)
H: Now I just want to talk real quick — something to ponder about. The Shroud of Turin, okay? The alleged burial cloth that was wrapped around Jesus Christ —
G: I am very familiar with that so this is going to be a good question.
( . . . )
Q: That reminds me. Remember the time I met the man who I thought was the rein(X)carnation of Jesus of (X) Nazareth (X) in (X) West Hollywood? Well when I looked at my paperback (X) Jesus: A Revolutionary Biography by (X) John (X) Dominic (X) Crossan, (X) it looked close to the way I (X) remember that man having looked.
(TRANSCRIBER’S NOTE: THE PAPERBACK EDITION OF THE BOOK EXPLAINS “THE PICTURE ON THE COVER OF THIS BOOK AND THE ABOVE RELIEF, FROM WHICH IT WAS TAKEN, ARE NOT SO MUCH DECORATION AS SUMMARY OF THIS BOOK.
