2021 Update: This is the photo mentioned as showing a pair of eyes or 'red eyes' in the dark background of a room. The eyes and faint visage of a 'mysterious visitor' are noticeable; however, there is no red coloration of the eyes. Because of the faintness, the photo wasn't included in the paperback first edition of TESTAMENT.

Timothy Fielding suggested the director's chair. 'But what I really want to do is dreck?' I've never sold any of my screenplays despite them being authentically Hitchcockian. (See my family tree.)

Steve Cohen photographed this "kind of strange" formation usually covered by vegetation in Malibu at three p.m. on October 27, 1996 following an area fire that was said to have been started by a downed power line. This and similar patterns cover the floor of a single canyon off the Coast Highway. Steve speculated the formation could be due to crushed rock or sea shells and may be a Chumash Indians remnant. ©Steve Cohen
