PHOTOS AND CAPTIONS
This 'dome top trunk' stored movie press kits that I'd written or edited in my preceding career as a Paramount Pictures movie publicity writer. The trunk became my 'ark of the covenant' as chronicled in TESTAMENT.
This is one of my many Los Angeles area antique store discoveries.
This photo is of artist Artie Wayne, presenting me with a hologram he made, inside Odd Drifts on Sunset Boulevard in L.A.'s Silverlake district. The photographer is the store's owner Zarelli Pagliai.
This photo of myself (with angel and bell) was taken at the California Heritage Museum in Santa Monica, where I was a volunteer docent for two exhibitions.
I took this impromptu photograph of William Neish at his desk in an administrative office for the Southern California HIV/AIDS Hotline.
I visited with relatives in Pennsylvania October 3 - 6, 1997. This photograph of me with my cousin, Nancy Ferringer, was taken by Mazie Bickel.
This photo sent to me by my cousin Nancy features my late grandmother, Margaret Shellenberger (center), and aunts (from left) Hannah Bell Bovard, Clara Bell Mitchum, Marilyn Miller and Roselyn Hamilton. I discovered that I have Native American ancestry as Margaret said her mother was part Mohawk Indian.
I took this photo of the Masonic Temple at the intersection of Euclid and Cordova in Pasadena, California on Sunday, April 22, 2001. This was the setting for the second annual Lifeways Psychic Expo in Pasadena. In addition to being an exhibitor at the Expo to publicize the book and website, I conducted eight hours of interviews that included an investigation into the ersatz aura photo business.
Dylan Kelly photographed me at my booth at the Lifeways Psychic Expo with Marlene Mae LaGrippo. Dylan and Marlene were two of the people I interviewed on April 20, 21 & 22, 2001 at the Pasadena Masonic Temple.
This is a photo of my booth at the Conscious Living Expo.
I took this photo of my booth at the 1st Annual Conscious-Life Expo, where I was an exhibitor/lecturer February 13-15, 2004.
In 2013 I gave a copy of a printed book edition of my blog to George Noory at the Long Beach Health Freedom Expo. (photo by Rosie Bovard) I've occasionally made myself available to be an interview guest for the radio show "Coast to Coast AM" over the years — following the occasion when Ramona Bell told me she'd changed her mind about my being a guest during a 1997 pre-interview telephone conversation.
I was living in an Echo Park condo on Clinton Street at Belmont Avenue in Los Angeles at the time of my unexpected spiritual awakening in 1995. My 'paranormal initiation' brought the recognition of 'the Michael Pattern' and 'the Bell Pattern' interlinking famous cases of paranormal phenomena through the centuries. Another discovery was my apparent previous incarnation as 'Bel-Marduk,' an ancient god-king-priest.
After moving from Echo Park to live in a Santa Monica highrise building apartment, this was the view from my bedroom. While living in Santa Monica, my mother became ill and moved in with me. We later moved to the San Fernando Valley suburbs of Los Angeles.
This is a photo of Marie Todd and myself at U2's postmodern 'Popmart' concert at the Los Angeles Coliseum on June 21, 1997. This was during the weekend of the summer solstice.
I snapped this photo of Fiona Manning beside Manley Hall's depiction of Madame Blavatsky at the Philosophical Research Society Library on May 3, 1998.
Here's a 1998 snapshot of Laura Leong and I that was taken on the last weekend Laura was bookstore manager at the Philosophical Research Society. This photo was taken inside the bookstore by Mark Anthony.
This photograph of hotline assistant John Slovick at his desk in an administrative office for the Southern California HIV/AIDS Hotline was probably taken by William Neish. This is an expression I sometimes saw in my discussions with John. Unfortunately, the hotline was terminated with calls from then on being taken in Northern California. I then became an APLA volunteer food bank worker.
This photograph of my mother, Ellen, was taken by Stephen LoCascio on November 28, 1997.
My twin brother Mike photographed me at my booth during the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books April 29 & 30, 2000 at UCLA. Wherever I am, people usually tell me about their own 'paranormal' or 'unexplained' experiences. The word being noticed is 'belltower.'

James Johnson photographed me outside of the Pasadena Masonic Temple on Sunday morning, the final day of the Lifeways Psychic Expo held on April 20, 21 & 22, 2001.
Aric photographed me at my booth at the Conscious Living Expo during a visit from Angel Micaela (aka Mica Monet).
Here I am handing out news releases at the Conscious-Life Expo. This photo was taken by Deborah Smith.
