I was living in an Echo Park condo on Clinton Street at Belmont Avenue in Los Angeles at the time of my unexpected spiritual awakening in 1995. My 'paranormal initiation' brought the recognition of 'the Michael Pattern' and 'the Bell Pattern' interlinking famous cases of paranormal phenomena through the centuries. Another discovery was my apparent previous incarnation as 'Bel-Marduk,' an ancient god-king-priest.
After moving from Echo Park to live in a Santa Monica highrise building apartment, this was the view from my bedroom. While living in Santa Monica, my mother became ill and moved in with me. We later moved to the San Fernando Valley suburbs of Los Angeles.

This photograph of hotline assistant John Slovick at his desk in an administrative office for the Southern California HIV/AIDS Hotline was probably taken by William Neish. This is an expression I sometimes saw in my discussions with John. Unfortunately, the hotline was terminated with calls from then on being taken in Northern California. I then became an APLA volunteer food bank worker.
This photo sent to me by my cousin Nancy features my late grandmother, Margaret Shellenberger (center), and aunts (from left) Hannah Bell Bovard, Clara Bell Mitchum, Marilyn Miller and Roselyn Hamilton. I discovered that I have Native American ancestry as Margaret said her mother was part Mohawk Indian.

In 2013 I gave a copy of a printed book edition of my blog to George Noory at the Long Beach Health Freedom Expo. (photo by Rosie Bovard) I've occasionally made myself available to be an interview guest for the radio show "Coast to Coast AM" over the years — following the occasion when Ramona Bell told me she'd changed her mind about my being a guest during a 1997 pre-interview telephone conversation.

My twin brother Mike photographed me at my booth during the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books April 29 & 30, 2000 at UCLA. Wherever I am, people usually tell me about their own 'paranormal' or 'unexplained' experiences. The word being noticed is 'belltower.'
