TESTAMENT, a 'New Consciousness Bible,' is Published
SANTA MONICA, Calif., Jan. 29 /PRNewswire/ — TESTAMENT, a “New Consciousness Bible,” transcribed by Mark Russell Bell, has been published by Oracle Press. The book is comprised of Q&A interviews and journal entries by a studio publicity writer — “a carpenter in the Hollywood dream factory.”
TESTAMENT begins with interviews in an investigation into a rural American poltergeist case for a potential book/film deal and evolves into a tell-all book on the entertainment industry, popular culture and every aspect of society imaginable. The interviewer has also worked as a Hollywood talent agent and as a volunteer ‘listener’ on the Southern California HIV/AIDS Hotline.
The book presents candid conversations with a range of individuals from the film business, the art world, many areas of New Consciousness spirituality, and even from the interviewer’s own family. The first 231 pages of the book feature an Oklahoma family that has interacted with ‘Michael,’ an unseen and all-knowing Spirit. The family has been seen in a 30-minute segment on the ABC special “Ghosts, Mediums, Psychics: Put To The Test” and on “20/20.”
Among the book’s revelations is that ‘Mabus,’ a character prophesied by Nostradamus, is an anagram found within the name of Mark Russell Bell. Promotions for the book commenced January 7th with an ad in Daily Variety. TESTAMENT is available at bookstores, including The Bodhi Tree in West Hollywood.
The soft cover book sells for $21.95 and features photos of an array of phenomena, including burned bushes, a bigfoot, spirits and what the Oklahoma family believes to be aliens. The ISBN number is 0-9654916-0-9. The Library of Congress Catalog Card Number is 96-71184. The cover features postmodernist Mark Kostabi’s painting “Official Greeting.”
Prior to taking a sabbatical to work on the book, Mark Russell Bell worked as a publicity writer for more than 100 Paramount Pictures releases, including “Braveheart,” “Forrest Gump,” “Ghost,” “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade,” “Fatal Attraction” and the 1989 reissue of “The Ten Commandments.”

'God Has Channeled Three New Commandments Through Me,' Announces Mark Russell Bell, Transcriber of TESTAMENT
SANTA MONICA, Calif., June 16 /PRNewswire/ — Mark Russell Bell, formerly a Paramount Pictures publicity writer, claims that he has been given the task of delivering three new commandments from God to mankind. The new commandments are:
11. Love is the only true religion.12. Give back to the world as much as you take.13. Thou shalt not participate in cover-ups.
Events leading up to this disclosure are chronicled in TESTAMENT, a “New Consciousness Bible” transcribed and edited by Bell. Published by Oracle Press, an Internet edition of the book is now online at testament.org and features color photos of diverse phenomena, including ghosts, apparitions, burned bushes, a bigfoot and what a rural Oklahoma family believe to be aliens.
“God has channeled three new commandments through me,” says Bell. “Who would be better for such a role than someone who apprenticed as a carpenter in the Hollywood dream factory?”
TESTAMENT resulted after Bell traveled to Centrahoma, Oklahoma to investigate a talking poltergeist haunting involving Bell/Mc Wethy family members. The family has discussed their interaction with “Michael,” an all-knowing Spirit, on television in “Ghosts, Mediums, Psychics: Put To The Test” and “20/20.” Bell realized this was the Archangel in a chain of events that he says proves God’s existence. In Los Angeles, Bell continued interviewing people who’ve experienced events sometimes labeled ‘supernatural’ or ‘miraculous.’ He also discovered evidence that he lived a previous life in Egypt as Bel-Marduk, otherwise known as Ra the priest.
The book and upcoming continuation, NEW TESTAMENT, present candid conversations with a range of individuals from the film business, the art world, many areas of New Consciousness spirituality, and even from the interviewer’s own family, including his identical twin brother. Among the book’s revelations is that ‘Mabus’/‘the son’— a character prophesied by Nostradamus–is an anagram found within the name of Mark Russell Bell.
Promotions for the book commenced in January with an ad in Daily Variety. TESTAMENT is available at bookstores, including the Bodhi Tree in West Hollywood and the Philosophical Research Society in Los Angeles. The ISBN number is 0-9654916-0-9. The Library of Congress Catalog Card Number is 96-71184. The cover features postmodernist Mark Kostabi’s painting “Official Greeting.”
Prior to working on the book, Bell worked as a publicity writer for more than 100 Paramount Pictures releases, including “Braveheart,” “Forrest Gump,” “Ghost,” “The Godfather, Part III,” “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade,” “Fatal Attraction,” the 1989 reissue of “The Ten Commandments,” and various “Naked Gun” and “Star Trek” films.
“God has revealed secrets of life to me in a chronology of events that aren’t without humor, irony and occasional moments of terror and awe,” remarks Bell. “The Spiritual Force has found me a receptive channel — as it previously has not only Jesus and Buddha yet also such little-understood people as Madame Blavatsky and Edgar Cayce. You might say I’ve been appointed your master of ceremonies for a day of expanded consciousness. The word ‘paranormal’ has just become obsolete.
“It is with great joy, anticipation and some trepidation that I bring these new commandments to mankind. I cannot predict what the reaction will be to a case history proving that each of us lives every moment in the presence of God. Of course, the previous commandments are still in effect — not that you’d know it from the state of our world ruled not by love but by self-interest, greed and idolatry.”
