Mark Russell Bell’s ‘New Consciousness Bible’ Has Readers Worldwide LOS ANGELES, Calif., – (Marketwire - January 6, 2009) – Mark Russell Bell’s case study book Testament was first published twelve years ago in January 1997. A paperback edition is available and a free Internet edition may be read at http://testament.org The book resulted after the author interviewed an Oklahoma family experiencing so-called ‘talking poltergeist’ phenomena in 1995. These Q&A transcripts became the first portion of Testament. The family was seen on television in the 1995 ABC special “Ghosts, Mediums, Psychics: Put To The Test” and this footage also aired in the summer of 1996 on “20/20.” Among the phenomena filmed for the special was a diningroom chair moved by an unseen presence. Upon returning to Los Angeles from Oklahoma, the author continued having unexpected experiences while conducting further interviews. Interview participants included friends and acquaintances working in the Southern California entertainment industry. Bell found his professional background useful in gaining insights about consciousness and creativity. Born in Culver City, he majored in cinema at USC, worked as a talent agent and then as a studio publicist for Paramount Pictures before becoming a metaphysical author. Another source of interviews for Bell’s book was the Philosophical Research Society in the Los Feliz district of Los Angeles. Founded by Manley Palmer Hall in 1934, the Society has a motto of “Honoring the Wisdom of All Traditions.” Bell’s upcoming book is My Unexpected Path of Spiritual Discovery, an autobiographical account of his research that includes overviews of famous cases involving ‘paranormal phenomena.’ In his new book, Bell considers surprising evidence for a ‘Spiritual Force’ or ‘Oneness’/‘Superconsciousness.’ Bell suggests scientists err when interpreting findings under the assumption that such a Being as ‘God’ doesn’t exist when instead they should consider that familiar concepts of God are inadequate. The Internet edition of Testament has a diverse readership throughout the world via the noncommercial website http://testament.org |

Mark Russell Bell of Testament.org Will Participate in the Internet's First-Ever Virtual Body Mind Spirit Expo July 27, 28 and 29LOS ANGELES, July 2, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Mark Russell Bell of www.testament.org will present a streaming lecture about his experiences and research involving unexplained phenomena for The First-Ever Virtual Body Mind Spirit Expo on July 27, 28 and 29 at www.bmse.net/vbmse2/ with free worldwide attendance. He will also host the New Consciousness Research Organization virtual booth in the Expo's Centers and Publications virtual hall. His nonfiction book Testament is available to be read online without charge. The book is a case study presented via question and answer interview transcripts, journals and photographs. Bell's upcoming book is Hollyweird, an autobiographical account of the author's unexpected yet revealing path of spiritual discovery. Before Bell became a metaphysical author, he worked in the entertainment industry as a publicity writer for Paramount Pictures. The author interviewed an Oklahoma family experiencing 'talking poltergeist' phenomena in 1995 and published these transcripts in Testament. The family was seen on television in the 1995 ABC special "Ghosts, Mediums, Psychics: Put To The Test" and this footage also aired in 1996 on "20/20." Bell comments, "My experiences and research have shown me that all living things are continuously interacting with an intermediary Superconsciousness or Spiritual Force that may be recognized through circumstances often described as coincidences and synchronicity, intuition and telepathy, prophetic dreams and visions, mediumship and trance channeling, healing, as well as events associated with such expressions as 'hauntings,' 'talking poltergeists' and 'electronic voice phenomena.' This predicament might be articulated as all living things having a shared Subconscious Mind and 'Thought Conductor.' Such expressions as 'Oneness' and 'Christ Consciousness' are also useful." Testament was published in January 1997. The book's ISBN is 0-9654916-0-9 and the Library of Congress Catalog number is 96-71184. The Internet edition of the book is available without charge at www.testament.org/. The Oracle Press edition is available at www.bn.com/ More details about the Expo are available at www.bmse.net/.
