Excerpts from NEW TESTAMENT

"The corporate system is really sort of indescribable in its loathsomeness. ("YOU KNOW") It's full of games — mind tricks, mind games, ("YOU KNOW") actual funny business, trouble, blackmail and all kinds of funny things like that going on. And Mark definitely doesn't belong there because he obviously is a much more spiritual person, as I always thought he was. And that is the last place you would expect to find a spiritual person. And, by the way, I, Diana Widom, am also a very spiritual person and when Mark said we got laid off at the same time — we did but I can't say anything about Paramount because they've been very generous to me. I got laid off because I have multiple sclerosis and couldn't work, couldn't stand on my feet and run around the way I used to. And I have had a wonderful time since leaving the studio. And, obviously, Mark has too."

— Diana Widom

"But I think the real reason why I wanted to call was simply a way to get to this other one. I'm more interested in the book you're going to write about outing every gay actor and actress in Hollywood."

— Barsky of "The Barsky Show" on radio station Y100 in Philadelphia

"Hello, this is Mark Russell Bell and I'm calling to report a UFO. Actually, it's one that anyone can see because the Hubble telescope was involved in taking its picture so the photo is available on the Internet."

— Mark Russell Bell

"I was disappointed with the webcast in that friends of U2 couldn't send Email directly to them. I edited the press kit production information for 'U2 Rattle and Hum' at the Paramount dream factory and wanted to tell Bono how impressed I was by the band's new channeling of Pop. Judging by Bono's comment in the Los ANGELes Times, he doesn't seem to yet be aware that Pop exists and is looking forward to spending all eternity with him. The 'dumb bells' lyric in the album was an ironic touch."

— Mark Russell Bell

"We can make life around us a hell or we can make life beautiful."

— Amanda Suzanne

"It's like when I'm saying something negative or judgmental I'm the Antichrist and when I'm saying something sweet and pleasant I'm Jesus."

— Mark Russell Bell
